So difficult to do posts for ex-Hello Project members but seems I can squeeze one in for Maimi every three or so months, actually her last one was in October. Of all Idols seems the ones that graduate from a Hello Project tend to drift quickly away into oblivion compared to other groups such as AKB or Nogi save for a pair or possibly three C-ute members. Maimi finished third on my 'All Time Top Twenty Faves' list which at the time was the correct position. But if another one does get done in say two years she would have an excellent shot at being number one, she'd be in competition with #6 on this year's fave's list.
Have been saying it for years and will until the day I die which is that Maimi is the most beautiful and alluring woman to ever walk upon the face of this Earth. She still looks so tremendous but wonder if we've seen the last of her doing gravure photo shoots? Really hope not yet this is the first year since 2007 hasn't had a photobook, bit surprised as her one last year was her first to ever top the Oricon charts for sales though she does have a 2020 calendar.
Those above are from the calendar and bet she's checking this site out as Maimi must know this is one place that will never forget about her.... plus another pair of C-ute members....
In all honesty there's not that many new happenings for today, the main one is for an event. But I enjoy posting about Maimi so much and always hoping to attract new fans for her as she's semi popular around here but not at the level she should be. There are new pics that aren't officially new as many had never been posted here before. Maimi is an exclusive model for the andGirl site, some pics from it which are a mix of old and new ones.
Maimi was in six horror/action films from 2009 to 2013, have seen four of them and all were quite good, highly recommend "Zomvideo". After a six year gap she's in another action movie which is titled "BLACKFOX: Age of the Ninja" which I thought had only come out on DVD back in October. Guess that wasn't the case as the film had a special screening yesterday at the Wald 9 in Shinjuku. My original thought was correct as it did come out on DVD and the screening was to promote it, we all know who shined at the event and wish there were more pics.
Said in the title that there were plenty of Maimi X-Mas cards and I do miss H!P cards for the group, few C-ute ones are at the bottom.
One thing I never did enough of in C-ute posts was to have mag spreads, usually saved them for solo posts. But do have a few which I'm fairly certain have never been posted, perhaps I should have a few more for C-ute? Sounds like a good idea as even though it's been 2 1/2 years since they disbanded I'm still a mega fan and always watch at least one concert a week. So will have a post or two coming up though the gals have never been too popular here. But have one spread for today to whet everyone's appetite that's from the January 22, 2014 issue of Big Comic Spirits.
That bottom pic is new from her blog, my all time favorite pair! Though I've missed some C-ute spreads over the years fairly sure am all caught up with Maimi's but will double check. Will end off with some beyond ideal pics which have been posted before but can one ever get tired of looking at such perfection? I never cam and perhaps if you viewers have never seen these it'll garner Maimi a few new devotees. Forgot to add in she still does host a Saturday radio show and a travel show with the above gal on Wednesdays. Plenty of gravure videos that are worth checking out on YT but instead have a promo one for her 2020 calendar after the pics.
