Finished my first ever 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list about 2 1/2 months ago. On that list so many of them have been way too quiet, think there's only been posts for five of them. Tsubasa is one of those gals and this is at least her second post since the list was completed, she finished tenth overall. But if there was ever another list done, say in three years, she's one of the few faves of mine who could actually move up because she shows no signs of slowing down.
Really wish Tsubasa had been higher than tenth but for an all time list that's a fairly impressive position. Tsubasa is also one of the few gals who doesn't need to have a bunch of mag spreads or a huge pictorial to have a post, she looks so super duper no matter what kind of pic it is. Mention that because there are no new mag spreads though she will be the cover girl for an upcoming Big Comic Spirits issue.
She's also going to be in issue #4(?) of Tokyo Walker Plus so there should be at least one post next month for Tsubasa with mag spreads, these are Instagram pics from the photo shoot.
Tsubasa was a model for the Non-no magazine for eight years though retired from them this past May. That's been one reason for the lack of spreads plus she also had so many superb pics at their site plus used to represent them at the huge fashion shows.
She is a model now for More though there aren't nearly as many pics at their site.
Tsubasa's next drama is titled "Yuube wa Otanoshimi Deshita ne", it'll be beginning on January 6th. This will be a drama I'll definitely be viewing and will probably do recaps for the show too. Tsubasa has done many CM's for the 'Dragon Quest' game over the years and the drama is a slight takeoff of the game. Tsubasa's last few series have been just so-so but she excels in these kinds of shows which appears to be quite a quirky one and I'm looking forward to it.
Tsubasa has done many interviews already for the series and have some of the pics here. Five each are from the Dogpatch and Modelpress sites.
The "Yuube wa Otanoshimi Deshita ne" drama will be airing on TBS and it's a late night show which is a good sign as those are always so much better. On December 27th Tsubasa and the rest of the main cast held a press conference for the show at the Nissho Hall in Tokyo. Plenty of terrific pics from the event and as usual she was dressed in her conservative style which I truly enjoy. No video of the event though do have an older Dragon Quest CM as the series is loosely based on the game.
