Shouldn't be too big of a post, had too many things for one post yet not quite enough for two large ones. Just wanted to discuss the schedule, have a few more faves who just missed the list and the bottom four spots. Will just be doing individual posts for sixteen yet three of the four today have had at least one post in the past two weeks. Above is the the gal who finished in the 21st spot so will call her an 'alternate' in case any fave decides to drop out! Most viewers should know who she is and if you can wait until tonight(seven hours?) will have a post for her and will say why she just missed in it.
Was going to begin the list either Tuesday or Wednesday but will hold off for 2-3 more days and that's because of my overthinking! A 'Nao Year' goes from December 1st until November 30th, December tends to be a slow month for happenings so that's a good time to do lists and special posts. One criteria for the list is you need six solo posts during that time span and if I do some on November 24th or so it wouldn't count for next year so if I just wait a few extra days that'll work out well. While you think one post many not matter it really does as two faves missed by one post to qualify and one of them may have ended up around tenth who happens to this gal.
J-Pop Idols or 35%, three are Korean actresses or 15%. That means the other ten are Japanese actresses and models which may be lower by one or two and that's definitely because of the health crises. One other thing which most may not have noticed is that there haven't been many recent posts for those in the top sixteen. Prefer to save any current happenings for that list post which is usually quite large but there hasn't been much lately for spots fifteen and sixteen so their posts may not be too big.
#20.... Tsubasa Honda, has made the list all six years.
Making it the previous five years was the main reason I worked at making her eligible and did explain the reasons in her two recent posts. Really not much more I can say about Tsubasa who has had more posts the last five years than any actress. Just began on her 2019 drama "CHEAT" which was finally subbed, she has the lead role in it. So will be recapping the series soon and it also starts another fave who made the top ten.
#19.... Riho Yoshioka, four years on the list.
Like the above had to work at making her eligible and she's also had two recent posts where I talked about why she ended up here. Riho is one of the few that have been on the list four times as it's a very small yet elite group. What's hurt her over the years is taking such extended breaks which is the main reason for this position, she will have another post coming up at the beginning of December.
#18.... Park Eun-Bin, first year on the list.
Think this is also the first time three Korean actresses made the list but in the back of my mind recall it may have happened in 2017. This is kind of a disappointment as of all the gals I post about Ein-Bin may be the most likable and also the best actress. Perhaps what hurt her this year was appearing in two dramas that had 32 episodes and it didn't leave much time for other things. Will never do a yearly list for my top dramas but for 2020 her series "Stove League" would have easily been #1.
And that is true as I do expect her to me one of my fave Idols for a while and she has been already for a few years now. There's not that huge of a difference between say this position and number fourteen. Will be doing another post for Kyoko right after the new month begins, in it will have the best news of the year which may make her the early fave to be #1 for next year.
