Did a 'this and that' post yesterday and said I was holding some things back for another post though I didn't mention it would be today. Had many more pics than I thought plus did obtain a few more so was planning on having a continuation of yesterday's post. But realized out of the 110 pics or so eighty(!) were of second generation members. So often I've moaned about how management overlooks the members and they've kind of got shunned to a certain extent. Thought to myself about an hour ago 'Why not do something about that Nao?' and that thought led to this first of what I hope will be a very long series.
There's only eight members left from the second generation who have been around for 7 1/2 years now and they have played a huge part in Nogi's massive success. So am planning on having this monthly series and don't think it'll be too hard to keep up with. The eight gals are busy but they tend to do more outside activities than most other Nogi members. So for today will have 65 or so of those eighty pics and leave some for that next monthly post which you would think would be in December. You're right with that thought but if I can get enough things scraped together for more than one monthly post then will do as many as possible but for the most part one member will be excluded.
That's
Miona and would rather keep her pics for solo posts. But if she does do any activities with her mates such as being at an event or having a mag spread with one will include her pics in these posts. Today the Senbatsu lineup was announced for Nogi's 26th single that will be released in January, no details besides the lineup have been revealed and here are the 19 members....
Mizuki as a center is okay by me and also three of the other members in the front row. Six of the eight first generation members or 75% are Senbatsu's, six of twelve 3G gals made the cut or 50%. For 4G five of of eleven are on the new single or 45% but when it comes to the second generation members.... two of eight are on the single or....
25%!!!! That was a huge reason for me wanting to do this new series and perhaps it's time for them and the other Undergirls to have their own album and concerts again. I thought their performances were so much better than the Senbatsu's but guess it's too difficult these days to stage performances.
Hinako above was one member dropped from the last single and she had been a Senbatsu member for at least the last four singles. She's someone you won't be seeing in today's post as there's really nothing new for her and that's been the case for too long. How about my fave shunned Nogi members and their counterparts from Keya hook to to create their own group?!
Enough intro tidbits and let's move on to many new pics, in these post probably won't have things for every 2G member though it could happen.
Miria was someone I really thought was going to be such a popular member and can't understand what happened? She's only been a Senbatsu member once but often is the center for Undergirl songs. That kind of bums me out that she hasn't had enough chances and I've rooted for her over the years, she is a decent blogger which is so rare these days for members.
In two of those pics she's holding an Anan mag and didn't know the gals were going to be in their next issue. That'll be something to look forward to for their next post and another thing will be a Miria spread for the next issue of Bubka, some promo pics from it.
She's looking quite good these days, she was 13(!) when she joined Nogi but is now 21.
Rena graduated from college back in March but is still with Nogi which may be a wise move as you're only young once and why not enjoy yourself? As mentioned so many 2G members do non-group activities and she had a new solo radio show that began October 1st on Tokyo FM. It's a daily show and
Rena is the first Nogi member to have one of them, she's been the host of two other radio shows.
Ayane has her first photobook coming out in a few weeks, shocked she got one but am glad as she's such another easy member to root for. No new mag spreads for the PB but sure there will be but she has done a few recent interviews for it and these pics are from one for the
Model Press site.
So many fans, including myself, thought Junna may have ended up being the most popular second generation member but once again it didn't out well for a 2G gal. She's gotten much more attractive the past few years and she such a new superb spread from the December issue of UTB.
Had about sixty new pics for today and will call it a day with that total. Do have plenty of pics for a regular Nogi post and expect one in a few days. Another thing to expect is to see
Mai in all of these 2G posts, she'll be turning 29 in January and would love to see her wait until she hits thirty for her graduation.
Mai has the final batch of pics with these fabulous new ones from the
Oggi site.
