Nogizaka46: Merry(?) 'Valentine's Day' cards part one....

 

 I'm like all you viewers and am kind of bummed out about the recent slowdown. Things had come to a semi halt from last April until July but activities seemed to get back to somewhat normalcy after that. It did but these last two months have been even worse and sorry for the lack of posts. However there's not much I can do about things and we'll just have to weather this storm, hence a post like this one. I also visit blogs and sites to read about things and they too have rally slowed down on their posts. But at least viewership hasn't dropped too badly these last two months and there a few thousand posts to check out if you're somewhat new.

 Can't believe how fast time has been flying and that's one of the more accurate cliches of all time. In about a week the fourth anniversary of Nanami's graduation will be happening and no departure has made me sadder. She's kept her word and did retire from the entertainment industry and really have no clue what she's doing, it really doesn't matter as it is now her private life. Nineteen months after her graduation did the first and only 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list, didn't include her as I didn't feel her career was quite long enough. But if Nanami had remained with Nogi up until that list was done she would have been my #1 of all time and how I miss her, sighhhh....

 For a while my current number one member has been Hinako though with such a shortage of posts most may not know about it or have forgotten. She hasn't been doing much lately either as there's no new mag spreads or such. But have been working on things and think there's enough older pics for a decent post and that's one I'll try to have towards the end of next week.

 Let's get on to the pics and as the title says this is part one. The plan was to have a pair of posts and will have the other this weekend. But have more cards than I thought so perhaps will have two more posts over the weekend if nothing else is going on. This was a 'spur of the moment post' as I didn't think of it until a few hours ago as I really wanted to have more than just a pair of drama recaps. So in that other post or maybe two will have a few other Valentine's things such as event pics as Nogi did hold a few some years ago.

 Plus will have whatever else there may have been for the minor holiday. The pics are both ones you've seen in older posts and many which are brand new for here. Did some checking and as of now there are no new cards for 2021 plus there were none for New Year's as that's another thing that's taken a breather for a while. Not sure how many members will be in this first post, probably about ten and will mainly have them in pairs. No order either as they're first, second and third generation gals but no 4G members plus there will be some graduates in the posts. First batch is for Nogi captain Manatsu and she's followed by Erika. She's going to be in a prequel to the "Kakegurui" drama, that'll be starting in March and of course will be viewing it.

 Sometimes I've wondered if the more popular a member is the more cards they have. Seems that way as Asuka always has many more than most members while a personal huge fave of mine such as Mai has about twice as few.

 You will see some 2020 cards and don't think any of them were posted last year. Here's another second generation member who needs no introduction who is my second fave member. That's Miona and what's going on with her graduation? Haven't heard any news of when it'll officially happen, most fans were thinking during Nogi's two upcoming birthday concerts. But no announcement has been made on that and seeing as how it'll be streamed live if the graduation was going to take place then the event would certainly help sales.

 Hope to have a solo post for her within the next week then another if a graduation does take place. Final pairing features Minami and Mizuki who are such faves of you viewers. Actually the third generation members have been the most popular for a while now.

 Why not end off with Mai and no posts for her so far this year. Do have one new mag spread and a few other tidbits but really not enough for a post but I don't worry about having them for her. She does have more V-Day pics than any other member and could have had many more. It's not subbed but it's an enjoyable watch as after the pics have an old video from 2015 and their 'Doko?' show, features a few faves who we all miss.
