Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida....if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the rightplace(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Mai Shinuchi: Can you stand yet another.... 'Just because I can't get enough of her' post?!?!
Have mentioned in a few prior posts how I wish Mai had started this rush of posts so much earlier. This is her 13th of the year and she's only one post behind the leader, in 2021 she set a personal record with ten posts. But in 2020 there were just four posts and the biggest reason for that is because I used to have most of her pics and activities in Nogi group posts. Mai used to be very busy before 2020 but the past 2 1/2 years she's really put it into overdrive, had she began earlier she might have had a shot at being my #1 of all time!
But as far as being number one goes to date will say that Mai has the lead being my #1 fave for the year. Keep thinking these posts are going to drop off but they haven't and perhaps never will! A goal was to have a post a month after her February 10th graduation from Nogi and have been able to do that. As a matter of fact this is now the second time she's had two posts in a month and as the title says I just can't get enough of her! However would like to see more of Mai on the screen, maybe in a drama or at least opening her own YT channel. Plus I wish she would start modeling again, those two things may or may not be the difference in finishing first or second on this year's faves list.
Like every other post this will consist of brand new pics, some older ones you may have missed plus some older ones that had never been posted. Mai just had a post seven days ago so obviously that means there isn't a huge amount of things but then again this could be a large post. These top three were just posted at her IG site, the others were some missed ones from May.
If you're a collector of Nogi cards have more older ones to complete your collection. For some odd reason didn't post many Nogi cards from 2019 to mid 2021 so am going back to fill in the missing ones. These are from October 2020 save for the top three which were for New Year's 2021, none of these had been posted before.
Mai's fourth stage play of the year will begin at the end of July, will have info about it in her next post which should be in the first week of August. Then there may not be another post for over a month as I want to save her new pics for when her position on my second "Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list comes up, she's zoomed into the top ten! Back in 2018 and 2019 the With magazine site had an OL campaign featuring five Nogi members. There was one campaign for Autumn 2018 and then again in the Summer of 2019 which is where these pics are from. They were in a group post but would think most viewers have never seen them, all are terrific and especially those top three....
In Mai's last post had a brand new mag spread which slightly shocked me as I didn't think we'd be seeing any more but still wonder why some modeling site hasn't signed her up? So there being no new spreads will go back in time again, almost five years for this set from the November 21, 2017 issue of Flash that was promoting Mai's first PB.... that bottom pic may be my #1 of her....
The main reason for this post was this final batch of pics and if I waited until August they may have become dated. At first I was a bit sad about her leaving Nogi but not now as Mai is busier than ever. On July 8th she was a 'special guest' at the 'Miraikan for 2030 Plan Presentation' which was held at the National Museum of Science in Tokyo. Really not sure why she was there but Mai seemed to be very interested in food loss and perhaps she'll end up being an ambassador for this project, a dream is also to broadcast a radio show from outer space! Plenty of fabulous pics from the event and following them is also a video of it, you only see event videos after you graduate from Nogi.
