One day late with this post but that's okay as I don't think this could have been done yesterday and waiting one more day meant 28 new pics. This is Nene's 16th post of the year and she's fallen slightly off the pace to set a record for posts in a year. That mark is 26 which was done two years ago and the 'Nao Year' ends on November 30th so having ten posts to tie the record in just over four months is probably not going to happen. That's all right though as even hitting twenty posts for a year is an impressive feat as only three others have ever done it. So Nene should have more posts than any one this year and who would have ever thought that would happen, all those have also meant she's right there in the battle to be #1 on this year's faves list.
In about twenty days will start on the countdown for my second 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list, the first was done exactly four years ago. Been having a problem with who should the 20th woman be, there's so many gals I post about but want the list to be of those twenty far and above the others. One name that hadn't crossed my mind was Nene's and after further reflection why shouldn't she be on the list? What was holding me back was that her first post was done just twenty months ago but this is her 24th since then and only one other massive fave can top that figure. Plus of all the women I've introduced over the last three years Nene is by far my #1 of all of them so have talked myself into including her on the list. Won't be too high of a position due to her late start but being around the 15th spot is still quite an achievement.
There were two mag spreads in mid-June for the book but only one since then, that's a bit strange for not many if any gravure models have had as many spreads as Nene this year. The one new set to promote the book is this one from the July 22nd issue of Friday.
