Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Haruka Fukuhara: Another in her series of.... 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘴 posts....

I will never, ever get tired of that first photo and though it may make some of you viewers shake your heads of the tens of thousands of pics that have been posted here that may be in my top 25 of all time! Speaking of all time Haruka should have easily made my 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list which was done last year. But she barely missed the cut and that's due her not having enough of these kinds of posts. I like her immensely and she's the kind of woman who should have been in the top five but sadly it didn't work out. Haruka is one of only four women who have made the top ten three years in a row on the faves list, she did that from 2019-21. But the last two years she hasn't had the six posts to qualify and this is her fifth one for 2023. Haruka does have eighty posts but about half have been for her dramas which could be the highest percentage of any actress I post often about.

Would say that over the last five years Haruka has been my favorite actress and never missed one of her dramas. That is until this year as to me her dramas since 2021 have been hit or miss, wish she would do more edgy shows like "CHEAT" and "IP: Cyber Sosohan" though did enjoy the first season of "Yuru Camp" quite a bit. "Koe Girl" from 2018 was also excellent and that was the first drama I saw her in. Just one movie I've seen that she's appeared in which was "Hitsuji to Okami no Koi to Satsujin" from 2019 where she played a killer and that was one terrific film. Did review it and highly recommend it, the film is also known as "My Girlfriend is a Serial Killer".

Over the years Haruka's activities and then posts for them have come in spurts, she'll have three posts in two months and then zero for six! This is just her second post in six months but do have quite a few newish pics and hope there's not another long gap until her next one. First off are these pics for  her IG page and she posts so few of them which does baffle me. The top two are August 28th when Haruka celebrated her 25th birthday, can't say for sure but have the feeling she's a bit of a quiet woman which is why she doesn't do much on social media and to me that's actually a very positive trait.

Least she does have a fair amount of pics for Halloween though it's impossible to ever be scared by her, not even her Jueri character from 'Kakegurui' could do that!

Small batch of pics here are from the September 2nd 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show, Haruka does appear at many of them and she took her stroll on the Moments+ stage.

How's this for a short title(!), "I Wish I Could Meet You again on the Hill Where That Flower Blooms". That's the title of Haruka's upcoming film which will be opening on December 8th so hopefully can do another post for her around then. It does look to be an interesting film as her character Yuri was living in 2023 and somehow got transported back in time to 1945 when the war was still going on. The first screening for the movie took place on October 25th and that's what this batch of pics is from, check out the film's trailer after that.

Will end off with a pair of magazine spreads from a few months back, she doesn't appear in enough of them. First off is this set from the September issue of ar, the bottom pics are from the site which are better versions of the ones in the spread.

Last up has Haruka as the cover girl for the August 22nd issue of Flash and she does appear in that magazine quite often. After the pics is a new CM for Shimatta which somehow has over a million views and you can listen to Haruka's fine(?) singing voice.
