Mai Shinuchi: Still keeping the Nogi flag burning....

 

 She has been getting some help as of late keeping the memory of the older Nogi members alive but these days don't post about nearly as many gals as I once did. After the first week of November often slow down on the posts for those who will make the yearly faves list. When their position comes up try to have it a large post with as many new things as possible so unless someone is ultra busy refrain from having too many posts for them. Can't give an exact date when the countdown will begin, possibly around November 27th. So a few days before that will have some sort of intro post and I need to begin knuckling down soon on who will make the list and where they may end up.

 Last year may have surprised some of you viewers having Mai in the fifth position but if you have been visiting here for a while you know that she's one of my all time mega faves. In 2022 she did have fifteen posts plus such a sparkling photobook, this is her seventh post to date for this year so she will see a drop on the list. But Mai will make it for the third year in a row and perhaps will finish around the twelfth spot which is respectable and there won't be many other (ex)Nogi gals on the list. So while it has been a slower year compared to 2022 Mai has still been very busy. She was in a stage play, appeared in her first movie, cohosts two radio shows and began hosting a new TV variety show two weeks ago. She's also appeared at four or so events, those are included in posts but things like radio or TV shows are almost impossible to post about, need to see her in a drama.

 Did say in te beginning that she's had some recent help keeping that Nogi flag burning. As many have noticed her second generation mate Iori has had many posts lately and will have more coming up next month, hope that her gravure modeling rubs off on some other departed 2G members. The pair never had a mag spread with just the two of them but do have one ancient one here from the February 2017 issue of UTB. The duo are joined by Misa and she too was such a mega fave of mine but that's a name which you may never hear here again. She did get married some years back and it was just announced she's expecting her second child.

 Good sized post but sadly not a huge amount of new things. But when I want to do a post for someone nothing will stop me and there aren't many others who I enjoy doing posts for over Mai. Her posts have been somewhat consistent, she had one in September, August and June so not quite one a month. First off are these pics since September 9th from her IG page, all are superb but not enough of them.

 One thing I've been saying in these posts is how I wished Mai began to do some modeling again as her older pics were close to unbeatable! She did some last year but zippo for 2023 so let's go back in time with this batch from the andGirl site. They're from 2019/20 and while some had been posted before there are a few new ones, sure even the older ones have been forgotten about. Those top two get a grade of A++++ and have always said she has the best legs of any (ex)Idol.

 Know these are out of date now but here's one last look at Mai's 2023 calendar. The terrific pics will never go out of date and hopefully she has one for next year also.

 It was a very low key event but today Mai was at one for Mini Stop convenience stores. The event was to promote a new Vietnamese cacao chocolate soft ice cream and her first photobook from 2017 was shot in neighboring Thailand. 

 Will end off with some older Nogi cards for Halloween, bottom two aren't cards but she looks so fabulous in them! In a little less than three months Mai will be hitting the age of 32 but doesn't she get more attractive every year?! To me she does and what I'm very pleased with is that five woman thirty or older will make this year's faves list and these days do prefer the slightly older women. Did mention her first photobook took place in Thailand, back in August she made a return trip to the country and the video for it which is on her Vlog is after the pics.
