Went from early January when I did a post for Minami's 24th birthday until July for her next post of 2023. Probably could have squeezed one post in but even so it has been so much of a slower year for her. However this makes it three posts in eleven weeks and I'd have such a grin on my face if that pace could keep up for a while. Odds are high that it won't but it is nice seeing Minami a bit busier than she once was and is now just one of two current Nogi members I post about.
When you look back at the the yearly faves lists done since 2018 there's always been 3-4 current or graduated Nogi gals that have made the list. Sadly this year may see just one current member, perhaps one graduate could qualify but that would be it!
Minami has made the top ten list twice and is also high on many other kinds of lists, for instance she has my favorite photobook of all time! But this is only her fourth post of the year and it appears she won't hit the six posts needed to be eligible for the second year in a row. It's not entirely impossible though wonder if many care as her posts for the last two or so years have not been overly popular.
Even though
Minami just had a post three weeks ago this is a decent sized one. Could have made it larger but would rather see her have a bunch of medium sized posts than a pair of massive ones. Let's begin off with some photos from her IG page that have been posted the last three weeks. Some of the pics are of
Minami working on the anime "The Seven Deadly Sins" and back in 2018 she played the character of Elizabeth in a stage play with the same name. It's going to be anime beginning on October 10th and will voice a character in episode one though don't know if it'll be for the entire series.
Next to C-ute I thought Nogi had the sharpest looking cards of any J-Pop group. But they've slowed down so much the past two years and think two series have been discontinued. Such as my fave card series from the group which was called 'Always With You', none have come out in two years so these could be the final ones featuring
Minami.
What the shortage of Nogi cards means is that there may not be any new ones for this year's Halloween. So let's go back in time with these terrific older cards, keep your fingers crossed that I can do
Minami's next post around October 31st and there are new pics for the quasi holiday.
Have one brand new magazine spread that's from the October 18th issue of Weekly Shonen. This is a very rare occurrence as Minami wasn't the cover girl and that doesn't happen often.
For that six month gap with no posts for
Minami don't think I missed all that much but will check again on that and if there were some things will have them in a future post. Saturday she, along with three other Nogi mates, was at the Autumn 'Girls Award' show held at the Makuhari Messe Hall in Chiba.
Minami took her stroll on the
Top of the Hill stage and looked her usual super duper self! She'll be hitting the age of 25 in exactly three months and why hasn't she had a second photobook? There were no videos from the show and that's not surprising so will skip having any as I can't find any decent ones that hadn't been posted.
