Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida....if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the rightplace(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Kyoko Saito: Her illustrious 42nd post!
Solo posts the 42 refers to and that's exactly 2/3's of her total posts. How I wish Kyoko had so many more but that's not a low amount of posts in a 5 1/2 year stretch. This makes it twelve for 2023 and that breaks her personal record of eleven which was set last year, she sees a slight increase every year. Wish she started to see an increase in how many views her posts receive though. In 2021 she was the most popular woman I posted about, last year she was fourth but in 2023 wonder if she'll even make the top sixteen!!!!
So while Kyoko's popularity has fallen so rapidly I like her more than ever. Last year she was fourth on the fave's list and can see that happening again in 2023. Will admit I would love to see her battle for the top spot one of these years but just can't see it happening, of all the women I post about in my eyes Kyoko's the second most likable gal. Bit of an odd post as there's been no recent events nor mag spreads but still have over seventy pics for today and hopefully can squeeze one more post in this month.
Kyoko wasn't at the last two huge fashion shows though seven other Hina members were. That's because she's been busy filming her upcoming drama "Nukarumi no Shokutaku" which begins on October 21st. It'll be her first series outside of Hina and I'm really looking forward to it as the show seems to be a creepy thriller plus Kyoko has the lead role. Sure it'll be subbed and when it does you know the entire series will be recapped.
For the drama Kyoko has done a few itnerviews to promote it. This batch of pics is from the Times-Abema site and also have the link to it. In the interview she mentioned how she rarely reads books or mangas and that was an impression I had of her: Times-Abema site
Another interview though this one is for the latest "Mutant Ninja Turtles" anime movie which she voiced the character of April. The interview was done on October 5th with the Real Sound site and here's the link to it: Real Sound site
Kyoko does post more pics at her IG page than most Hina members though this has been it for the past three weeks. Did check if there was a promo video for the upcoming drama but none yet.
Have a mix here of new and old Hina cards. First five are from their last single "Am I Ready?" while the others are from 2017 or over six years ago(!) but her face hasn't changed all that much since then.
No new promo pics for the ''Uni's on Air' web game for October yet. That's not a bad thing as it means there will some group posts for Hina and Keya at the end of the month. Of course Halloween will end October and have some unfrightening Kyoko pics for the day....
Forgot to check if this spread was in her last post which is from the October issue of ar and Kyoko's been a model for them since June 2019.
Have some pics from the ar site and if you notice many are 'clean versions' of the ones in the above spread. Few are new though and I really like those top two.
Will end off with this older magazine spread that's from the November 2021 issue of EX-Taishu. It also features Hiyori and the reason I'm having it again is because it was just in a Hina group post so perhaps many of you missed it. It's not subbed but after the pics have a superb video interview with the Cinema Today site where Kyoko talked about doing her first ever voice acting job in the "Mutant Turtles: Mutant Panic" anime movie.
