Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Kyoko Saito: Her 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘥 43rd post!

Have talked about it before in previous posts which is how(why?) Kyoko's popularity has really dropped this year. In 2021 her posts had the highest amount of views of any woman here, last year she slipped to fourth but the amount of views her posts received stayed about the same. However 2023 is a different story and wonder if she'll even finish in the top twelve for most popular women? Think the answer to that will be NO and that's a shame as I like her more than ever, as a matter of fact if I look back over he last 3-4 years would have to say Kyoko may be my third favorite woman and is actually not that far from being #1.

She thinks she's number one but not quite yet, in all honesty bet she will never be #1 on any kind of list. As far as lists go Kyoko has been moving up every year, in 2020 she was my 17th favorite woman of he year, in 2021 she zoomed up to sixth and last year was fourth! In two months the number one for this year will be revealed and Kyoko won't be that person. However she probably won't finish any lower than fourth and would say there's an excellent chance of her being third. She's on a busy stretch as this is her third post in five weeks and you may be seeing much more of her soon.

You could be seeing much more of Kyoko as she has her first non-Hina drama starting today and you know that will be a series that will be recapped here. Much of this post will be devoted to the drama which I'm looking forward to but sure most viewers would prefer seeing photos like the above one though those are far and few between. Have close to fifty new pics for today which is a lot considering her last post was done just nine days ago, first off are these brand new pics from her IG page.

As you can see many of those above pics were from Hina's 'Happy Train' tour and think it just finished, maybe they have one more weekend to go. Their new album comes out on November 8th but there hasn't been a lot of things going on with them recently but promise to have a group post by the end of the month. Kyoko has been a model for the ar magazine since June 2019, top two are new pics from the site and the others are from their November issue.

One more new mini magazine spread and it's from the November edition of Monthly Comic Bunch. First time there's been a spread from that magazine and it's for the new drama.

Slight change of pace, forgot if I had these Halloween pics in Kyoko's last post and even if they were nothing wrong with an encore viewing.

Wish there were more pics from this site as these look so tremendous. They're from a new interview that came out yesterday from the Iza site for the drama but there's more than that in the interview, here's the link to it: Iza site

Title of the new drama is "Nukarumi no Shokutaku" which begins tonight on TV-Asahi and will run for ten episodes. Have viewed four other Kyoko dramas, two this year and my favorite one is still the Hina series "Re:Mind" from 2017. This is her first drama outside of Hina and she also has the starring role. The first episode is probably airing as I'm writing this up and will be able to get it in a few hours. But may hold off on viewing it for now as let me wait to see if there's any news of it being subbed, would be shocked if it wasn't. Kyoko plays the lead role of Mia Nejiki and it appears to be quite a creepy thriller and she excels in roles like that. These are all promo pics from the TV-Asahi site.

There is a promo video for the drama but it's not available to view outside of Japan. Once again there's no new October pics for the 'Uni's on Air' web game and can't understand why that's been happening since July. So will end off with this small batch of pics of an event held two days ago for the "Nukarumi no Shokutaku" drama. The other two are Kyoko's costars and after the pics is a video of the event, rare when you see one for a '46' member.
