Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Ji-won Ha: The King 2 Hearts episode 7 screenshots and recap
This episode really came out of nowhere, after the action level dropping down to zero and it turning into a romantic drama this did a complete 180 and so much better for doing it too, one of the best episodes from any drama I've seen, at least the most unexpected. Ji-won's character Kim Hang Ah is continuing to get to know both her future husband the Prince and learning the way the South lives. All seems to be going very smoothly and the King who is very happy with the way the situation is improving decides to take a trip with his wife before the wedding. One person we haven't discussed the last few recaps is the Korean John Mayer, whose father was a German and who was a major arms dealer who recently died leaving the company to his son. Mayer has some major plans up his sleeve and we didn't know what any of them were until this episode, he can be one ruthless person. He sent some of his henchman to the vacation spot where the King was, though he had major security around him the trio he sent were able to break into the house where they were but at the time they weren't at home. The King's sister though did arrive while they were booby trapping the place and she was taken hostage by them but not before all their traps were set in place. When the King and his wife returned they had started the fireplace as it being the Fall it was cold but of course unknown to them the coal had been tampered with and some poisonous pellets were in there. The two of them fell asleep to never arise as the pellets quickly did their work, the security team did arrive but to no avail as now the King of Korea along with his wife were now dead.
Also the King's sister who was taken hostage met with a gruesome accident, Mayer's henchmen were going to send her over a cliff in her car but before they could do that she ran away and jumped off the cliff, is she too know deceased? Don't want to say much more than that as really this was one episode that needs to be viewed, I was shocked all that happened as it really did come out of nowhere, wish the King who seemed like a good guy didn't die but events like that are what separates the good dramas from the classic ones. Not too much Ji-won in this episode, very few screenshots as you can see as most of the show revolved around the King and his untimely death though her character starting with the next episode returns to being a big role.
