Been a big lack of posts the past month(s) for Keya and Nogi who I expect to be busier with their new single coming out in twelve days. Very quiet year for Keya who will end up just having two singles for the year though the Hiragana and Kanji members both released an album. Wonder if it's an unwritten rule that J-Pop groups take a step back when others are in the spotlight?
AKB and NMB have had recent singles while there's been a slew of activities for Hello Project groups as the agency is in the midst of their 20th anniversary. While there may not be a single for Keya until next March(?) on November 21st the group will be releasing their first photobook "21 nin no Mikansei', the 21 refers to the number of Kanji members which means no Hiragana gals will be in the PB. Have a few promo pics here from it with the fourth one featuring three members promoting it on 'Showroom'. Yui I. has one of the covers even though she's graduating, heard the date is supposed to be this Sunday. Manaka has been on leave since March(!) but she'll have some pics in the book and wonder what's going on with her?
That bottom pic is from the Nagatanien site while the two above it are from the new CM which you can view at the top of the post. Nagatanien is a tea company in Japan and they have a new campaign promoting tea ceremonies and naturally their product. The four Keya members at yesterday's event are the new spokespersons for the campaign, starting today in their tea packages there will be concert Keya cards which should pump up sales.
The event was held on November 1st at the Akiba Plaza in Tokyo with four members in attendance. They were Yuuka who is Keya's captain and she's become very popular this year due to her PB and can't think of a group event she hasn't been at. Following her in the pics below is Risa who is the only member of the three not to have a photobook. As of now there's no Idol who I want to see have a PB more than her, perhaps a 'Top Ten Hottest Idols' list could be upcoming soon.
Say that because Risa would make my top five easily, if she had a PB then could see her taking the top spot. Don't know what it is about her but she is so incredibly cool and sultry. The other two at the event were Rika who had been my fave member until recently but has been overtaken by the other half of the 'W-Watanabe' duo. Last up is Neru and her first book which came out last December is inching closer to the 200 K mark in sales which is just so amazing and bet nobody saw that coming.
