Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Maimi Yajima: "Matataki" photobook DVD screenshots part two plus a few other tidbits....

Can't believe how many views Maimi's first post for this DVD has received. It's currently the most viewed post of the past month and she's never had that honor before, another recent post was also in the top for a few weeks. Don't know if that means Maimi has many long term fans here or whether all of her numerous posts have gained her quite a few new ones.
Hopefully will be able to have a few more posts soon, there's probably so many older things to get to and would also like to continue the C-ute 'Singles Series' as I think there's a few that may have been missed. They don't get large amount of views but I enjoy creating those more than any other post. Would like to finally have a solo post for Chisato who I've really been getting into so much more lately, that top pic is certainly a jaw-dropper.....

Two days ago Maimi released a pair of digital singles, have them though haven't played them yet. Titles for the songs are "Ao wo Misete Kuremasen ka" and "Nakitaku nai no ni". Have some pics here from the Oricon Style site that was for an interview Maimi did for the singles, top two pics are their 'covers'.

Bottom pic is from another part of the Oricon site, she had the # best selling photobook last week though just checked and it already fell out of the top ten. Can't recall if these pics were ever posted but fairly sure they weren't, they're from a September interview with 'TheTV.jp' site and was for her "Lady Outlaw" stage play.

This January will mark Maimi's second anniversary co-hosting the travel show "Furusato no Yume". Of course everyone knows who the other host is as she finished #1 on my all time faves list, screenshots here are from this weeks show and it airs on TBS.

On to the "Matataki" video which is a 19 minute DVD that was included with the PB. Was hoping Maimi would have another regular DVD, the ones she has are almost second to none and did view a few of them last night. Thought the screenshots in the first post were slightly better though of course the forty for today are naturally perfect. To me Maimi has always been the most beautiful woman in the world and somehow that beauty has increased as you'll notice in the pics, wish that scene with her in the black dress lasted longer than twenty seconds. Hopefully it'll remain on YT as after the perfect pics is a short segment from this week's "Furusato no Yume" show, usually they travel somewhere but on this show they stayed in the studio. EDIT- Video is gone as it got deleted after a week.
