'Too few' as always and this may be one of the smaller posts of the year as there's only 28 new pics. But these days it's so rare to have a post about Manami I jump at the chance to do one. Long time viewers know what a fave of mine she is and a few years back she came so close to being my number one of all time.
Speaking of that list, not that we were, Manami finished 17th on that 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list which I did last Autumn. Felt all of the selections and positions were solid save for perhaps one. If I had to do it over would place Manami a few spots higher, not that 17th isn't an achievement but in all honesty she should have had a higher position than the ones in front of her. Not sure where she should have gone, perhaps 11th is what I was thinking which means everyone from the position down would have finished one spot lower.
Have seen about ten Manami dramas though none for the past few years. But I am going to view her new one which began today and it looks like an edgy show, more on that at the bottom of the post. What I've noticed is that actresses who are thirty or over don't do a lot of blogging or posting pics on their Instagram accounts. Manami is no exception and rarely posts pics but have three here, back on June 14th she turned 33 but still rates a ten to me.
Need to do another post for that bottom gal who I like quite a bit. Manami's last post had the scans from her 2016 photobook "Flap" which had so many terrific pics but to me her "Clear" PB may have been better. Had thought that many forgot about Manami but guess not as that last post has been heavily viewed but in case you need to see more pics than what was in that photobook....
Manami has never appeared in enough mags since she debuted and obviously that's not going to change. But do have a pair of spreads today though this first one is an oldie yet had never been posted here before. That top pic rates an A+ and is from the February 2017 issue of Ginger.
Second Manami set is for her new drama and is from the July 9th edition of Flash.
Manami's new drama that started today is titled "Two Weeks" and in it she'll be playing a mother for the first time. In real life she isn't one nor has she ever been married, should let her Nao is still available! The father of the child was just released from prison for committing a murder. During his stint the child, his daughter, fell ill and needed a bone marrow transplant and for some reason he's the only suitable match.
But, according to the synopsis, he gets arrested again before the surgery on another murder charge! That looks to be an exciting series and I will be checking it out, let's hope it gets subbed. On July 10th there was an event for the drama with all of the main actors, Manami once again has the lead female role in a show. She's still looking mighty, mighty fine to me and after these superb pics of the event have a video of it.
