Somewhat intro post as most should know who Minami is by now, she does have about fifteen in all but except for two they've been for her dramas. About a year ago tightened up the age requirement for posts, where it had once been eighteen for a solo post increased the age to twenty, can't see going higher than that. But did 'grandfather' Minami in along with one other person who is about to hit twenty, or should I use the term 'grandmothered in?'.
The increase was mainly due to idols and even in group posts for Nogi, SKE, and such have also maintained that rule for the most part. But Minami is a different kind of person and it really made no sense saying she couldn't have these kinds of posts. She is such a tremendous actress and to date has done zero gravure spreads which is rare for females her age. She's also a bit of a classy woman which is also very rare for someone so young, though only two posts like this one can see that increasing very rapidly over the years.
At the very top is a CM for JA Kyosai that came out on June 19th. It features a huge fave of mine who needs no introduction yet she's only had one post for the past thirteen months! Hard to believe that's happened but there truly hasn't been many happenings for her or least should say many that are interesting.
As most may know I'm a big fan of the 'Kakegurui" drama, Minami is just so excellent in the series. The second season has just been subbed and will be recapping it next month, bit disappointing though that it's only five episodes.
The second season was a tie-in for the movie which was released on May 3rd, did many posts for it's screenings and premieres. Minami didn't do a whole lot of interviews for the film but did do one for the IT Media site and really looks so fabulous in these pics.
Minami does have a blog and site but unlike so many young females she doesn't post many pics and really doesn't seem to be into social media all that much which to me is a very good thing.
That bottom pic is from an event that took place today as July 21st is 'Natsuichi Day'. It's really not an official holiday but was the start of a new campaign which is to increase Summer reading, there's been a new campaign for the past 29 years which has been sponsored by Shueisha Bunko. Minami does look quite good in a yukata and have more pics in that vein at the bottom.
On June 26th Minami was at a special screening for the film 'The Great War of Archimedes". The event took place at the Tokyo International Forum and as you can see she's the only female present. Checked the rest of the cast and she really does play the only woman in the movie which is about the lead up to WWII.
That movie opens next weekend so there may be another post for coming up soon. Minami doesn't appear in enough mags but when she does her spreads are usually more than oki doki. This is a new set here from Young Magazine #33.
Final batch of pics which are the top ones of the day to me and did say how fabulous Minami looks in a yukata. She has a new CM for 'Kyoto Kuzen' which you can view after these pics, some are screenshots while the top five are some superb ones from their site. The video also has a long behind the scenes segment.
