Maimi Yajima: A blast from the past with everyone's ultimate beauty....

 Don't know if she's everyone's #1 beauty but she's definitely mine and if she isn't yours, why not?! So many of my number ones or top things have changed over the past five years such as fave actresses, J-Pop groups, Idols, dramas, blah blah. But there's always been one constant which is to me Maimi is the most beautiful woman to ever walk the face of this planet and to be honest can never see that changing. Kind of odd then she wasn't number one on my all time faves list, also if there was ever a list for my hottest Idols she wouldn't top that either but then again can anyone top her?
 Perhaps I've taken Maimi for granted over the years, guess when you see a new pic from her you expect it to be perfect and it usually is. It's been over 25 months since C-ute disbanded and to be honest still haven't gotten over the shock as I really miss hearing new songs from them and no group these days compare to them. In 2017 Maimi didn't release a photobook but there was a C-ute group book. That's been the only year since 2007 she hasn't released a PB, the question is can she keep her streak up this year and release one, they've always come out in the Autumn.

 Whew, talk about untoppable! Her posts take so much longer to do than anyone else's, you may ask why and that's because it's hard not to stop and gape at her pics of perfection!!!! Have had many of these pics for a while now so hope I can remember what they're from, just didn't seem as though there were enough pics until now and sadly none are as breathtaking as the above ones. Do recall what this small set is from which is from Ayaka Wada's graduation from ANGERME back in June. She was the leader of all Hello Project groups and took that position from Maimi late in 2016.

 Maimi does so much stage acting these days but then again so don't so many graduated Idols. However her plays seem to be bigger productions and she's had the lead character in at least three of them. She has another one starting up in about a month so perhaps they'll be some new pics coming our way. Her last play was titled 'At the end of the silver screen' which began on April 24th and ran until May 9th. Only a few pics from a short press conference the day the play opened but do have a few other promo pics along with some from a pair of interviews with the Pia Stage site.

 More Maimi event pics and it's okay that the gravure pics are rare these days as she does look so classy and elegant at happenings. Perhaps not elegant in this batch but still looks so super duper, on March 2nd she was at a special event at the Kumagaya Station Home in Saitama. That's where she hails from and the event was for a new train that's going to be used for the 2019 Rugby World Cup which takes place this Autumn.

 Have probably posted 500 of Maimi's C-ute cards, still so many that could be added to that total but won't be doing any more of them ass 500 should be enough. Back then her agency was Up-Front, when C-ute disbanded all of the members moved to a new agency. The new one is M-Line who still release cards and none of these have ever been posted before.

 Maimi still co-hosts a weekly travel show in TBS with the only C-ute member I prefer over her(?), she still hosts a radio show on Saturday nights. What's been lacking the last few years have been mag spreads but that was the case too often during the heydays of C-ute. Have two pics from the July issue of More and what I can't believe is no site or mag has signed her up to be an exclusive model.

 But do have a much bigger spread and it's one that was somehow missed from three years ago. It featured all of the C-ute gals but just mainly have Maimi's solo pics and this tremendous set is from a special Hello Project 'Best Shot' edition which came out in June 2016. As you can see some of the pics were from her "Nobody Knows 23" photobook.

 Even more Maimi event pics and these superb ones are new as the occasion took place on July 21st at Shibuya 109. It was to promote a new Wilkinson lemon water and at the very top of the post is a short video of the event but couldn't find the CM, does she look better than ever or what!?!?

 This ended up being a decent post but that's easy to do with Maimi pics, if it wasn't for Nogi members she would have more posts than any other Idol. So will end off with a few 'greatest pics' and it's so difficult keeping that total down to twenty. After them is a must watch video, bit long at 19 minutes but it's a behind the scenes one for the making of her "Matataki" photobook.
