Risa Watanabe: Her semi-majestic 47th post!

 

 For a J-Pop Idol 47 posts is an impressive number, forty have been in the last forty months and will let you figure out what the monthly average is! Often moan about the lack of posts for Risa but as you can tell that hasn't been the case, this is her ninth of the year and as I've said a few times would rather do posts for her than anyone else. But have only 25 new pics since her last post that was done just three weeks ago for her 23rd birthday but when I want to do a post for someone nothing will stop me! But besides those new pics have about fifteen that have never been in a post before plus some terrific oldies. There should be another post for Risa on or right after September 4th when the next TGC show will be held. She also has a fabulous new spread coming out later this week so thought why not have two semi-large posts instead of one massive one?

 That sounded like a fine idea to me and probably so too for her fan base which is finally growing large again. Four days ago did the preliminary list for this year's top twenty faves list, Risa was in the seventh position. But my prediction is that she'll end up being fifth this year which is an achievement considering how little Keya does. The group still has only one variety show and wonder if a second would help, wish they would also have their own TV drama and to date this year there hasn't been one group event. Then again that's been the case for Hina and Nogi too but they do so many other kinds of activities.

 Haven't viewed the group's 'Soko Magattara' variety show for a while but just grabbed episode #31 and you may see some screenshots in future posts. The subbing team changed and it's so much harder or impossible(?) to grab episodes after #31. "Nagaredana" is the title of Keya's, now Sakura, next single which will be coming out on October 13th. For the first time in years Risa won't be in the front row but at least the center was changed. There will be a total of seven songs on the single and she'll have the honor of being the center for two of them, more info on it in future posts.

 Those above were from Risa's 23rd birthday, would post more pics from the group's Diary blog but for some odd reason she seldom posts solo ones. Let's get on with things and have a batch of older promo cards for the 'KeyaKise' app game which hadn't been posted. Have very few left which haven't been seen and the game is ending or has already ended this month.

 But 'Uni's on Air' is still an active web game that features members from Keya and Hina though their characters have different games. To me the promo pics for the game are so superb, top four are brand new for this month while the other four I had missed from June.

 Mentioned the September 4th 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show in the beginning. Checked their site and for now they don't have any members from Keya, Hina or Nogi scheduled to attend but would bet my life that twenty members will be there. Risa has probably been at twenty or so shows the past four years and she always looks so tremendous at them, better than just about any other Idol. So if she's at the next show her next post should be on that day or perhaps the following one. Here's some stupendous pics from the March 30, 2019 TGC show and she took a stroll on the Red Yazel stage. Did do a post for it back then but over half these pics weren't in that post.

 Risa has been a Non-no model since March 2017 and there's usually many outstanding pics at their site. Have quite a few for today which have all come out in the last three weeks. On October 17th the magazine will be holding some special live event on YT with their main models, not sure what it will be about but we'll find out then.

 As I've said in most Nogi posts there's been such a decrease this year for mag spreads for the members and it's been even worse for Keya. Besides Non-no Risa's only solo spread of the year was in the June issue of Brody. However for the third time she'll be the cover girl for BLT Graph and that issue is coming out in five days. Have some promo pics here for it, the spread will be in her next post.

 Will end off with one of those BLT Graph sets which is from their December 2019 issue and it's tough to top Risa's perfection in this spread. On July 27th Risa hosted 'Showroom' to celebrate her 23rd birthday, video is after the pics. There's other ones on YT but like this video the audio is way too low and that's been the case for so many 'Showroom' videos. However it's rare to see her host the show so thought some fans may enjoy it.
