Nogizaka46: The slightly early 'Happy 23rd Birthday to Asuka Saito' post....

 

 Last Nogi post for a b-day I was two weeks late doing it so why not be a bit early this time around? Eight days to be exact but thought what's the sense of waiting as Asuka hasn't had a post since mid May and while there's not a lot of activities she's done in that period of time do have close to eighty new pics! Nogi's next single will be coming out at the end of September, barely three months since their last one. 'Fingers Crossed' was a mild disappointment as while it's sold close to 700,000 copies it's also the group's lowest selling single in over five years. So guess that's a main reason for this next one coming out so soon, my money is on Asuka to be the center for the song. She's only had that honor twice but her first one was for the "Hadashi de Summer" song which to me was Nogi's last great single.

 Kind of surprised this is Asuka's sixth post of the year, seems she's been so quiet but then again most of my fave members have been. She left her 'Harry's English Class' show in March, hasn't been in any dramas nor at any events plus there's been a huge decrease in mag spreads. But Asuka may have been Nogi's busiest member from 2017 to early 2020 so guess she does deserve to take it a bit easy, perhaps to count all of that $$?!  On September 4th the Autumn/Winter 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show will be held. Asuka always makes an appearance at them and hopefully her next post will be right after that. These fine pics are from the December 9, 2017 TGC show held in Hiroshima.

 This year has seen the return of Nogi cards and there seemed to be such a dip with them last year. Have two batches of them for today with the first being from the group's SSR series.

 Second Asuka set of cards are promo ones for the 'NogiKoi' game, bottom three are for the group's mini Summer tour which goes on until September.

 Asuka may just be turning 23 but she's been with Nogi since day one. I can't see her leaving any time soon so if she says until she's 27 or so that would mean fourteen years with the group which would be a record that probably would never be broken. Am holding back a few pics which are mainly modeling ones for Asuka's next post. But do have a large set of new modeling pics which are for GRL, they're for their Summer collection and she always looks so mature in their pics.

 Will end off with a pair of mag spreads, this first one is semi old and is from the May 27th issue of Young Jump. She's the cover girl and while Asuka doesn't appear in nearly as many mags as she once did for the years of 2018/19 she won awards for being the Idol to appear on the most covers.
