What we really need are some new photobook pics from members who aren't going to graduate! The last eight Nogi books will have been for those who have or will be departing, how about some books for those that are remaining? Mizuki's first book was quite darn good but that came out in January 2020 so getting tired of putting the same pics from the book in these posts and can say that for a few other members too. Besides some new and alluring pics it'd be nice to instill some live into the group who have gotten into such a rut, few members have been busy but all in all what a quiet stretch for Nogi since last October. Can't say quiet about Mizuki as this is her 18th post in a little over 24 months and that's a nice pace, at one time was kind of lukewarm towards her but she's grown into a semi fave of mine. Don't want to see her leave any time soon but she's really set herself up nicely for when she does depart from Nogi.
Hope I don't sound too harsh or depressing but Nogi's next single will be coming out on March 23rd and I really don't care about it. Still listen to their music up until about 2019 but with all of these graduations and so many fourth generation members in the lineup only listen to the coupling tracks which could be solo songs or ones from the first three generations. For this next single only six(!) members of the first two generations will still be part of the group and let's face it, there's so many long time fans like me who still yearn for the golden days which will never return. That's no knock on Mizuki or any other third generation member as they've been there for a while and most are now 22+ in age. So as I've mentioned a few times it's become more of a case of me following some members I still like a lot and not so much of a group as a whole. Nogi's fourth 'Nogi 46 Hours TV' special will be coming up in about two weeks and that is one thing I'm slightly looking forward to as those shows have been quite entertaining.
Not too many Nogi mag spreads as of late but can say that about most Idols these days but Mizuki does have the cover of the February 11th issue of Nikkei Entertainment.
Last week a superb batch of new pics from Peach John were released and as mentioned before isn't it time for Mizuki's second photobook? At almost 200,000 copies sold you know the fans want a new book too and after the pics is a video from this photo shoot.
