Nogizaka46: The slightly mini monthly mandatory 'Asuka Saito post'....

 

 Can't exactly call a post with over fifty new pics mini but there's not as much variety in activities as there once was. No events for the group all year but think eight members, including Asuka, will be at the March 21st 'Tokyo Girl Collection' show so her next post should be right around that along with 2-3 other members. But no mag spreads for today and it's not the end of the world but they do fill a post out plus the pics are usually oki doki. Back in 2018 and 2019 Asuka won awards for being the Idol that appeared on the most magazine covers, she must have had two spreads a month back then. Different story these days as she's just had one solo mag spread in the last three months.

 Made this by the skin of my teeth as last August vowed to have an Asuka post every month. Almost forgot about that and it just occurred to me earlier today so this makes seven consecutive months with a post and that's by far the longest current streak for any Idol. Who knows how rumors start and probably 99% aren't true. The latest one is with fans thinking Asuka will be the next first generation member to graduate and she's one of only four left. Personally don't think it'll happen this year and truly hope not as I like Asuka so much more than I did 3-4 years ago, she getting older has been a big factor. She'll be turning 24 in August and Nogi does need that 'veteran presence' with all these newbies so hope a year from now can laugh about those rumors.

 Bet so many fans, including me, would love to see Asuka finally release her second photobook as her first came out five years ago. Know it wouldn't be nearly as steamy as other Nogi books but that's fine by me and Asuka's conservative style is actually a huge plus. Then again any time we hear news of a Nogi photobook it's like impending doom as every book since November 2020 has been for a graduation. No mag spreads for today but this huge first batch has some mighty fine pics, they're from the 'Nogi Fes' and 'Always With You' card series and most were for Valentine's.

 

 Only a few new Instagram pics but Asuka has never posted many there or at the Nogi blog.

 Besides magazine spreads the other big decrease in the last six months has been Asuka modeling pics. She's a model for at least three sites but there's been so few recent pics but with Spring collections coming out soon hopefully that'll mean a slew of new pics will be coming out. These are her only recent ones which are from the Sweet site.

 We've already hit the end, did say many pics but not a lot of recent activities. Mondo Grosso is the stage name of a man named Shinichi Osawa who I've heard a bit about but don't know much about him. He's a musician, producer, DJ, etc. and his music is on the techno and danceable side. Osawa just released an album on February 9th titled "Big World" and singing the vocals on one tune was Asuka. She never gets a chance to have solo songs with Nogi and after the screenshots is the video of the song. It's subbed in English and the title is "Strangers", song is decent enough but Asuka looks way better than decent!!!! These are screenshots from the video and you can view it after the pics.
