Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nene Shida: Another post of this and that's....

Nene's first post was done in December 2020 which was fifteen months ago. This is her 15th post so it's easy to see her pace has been one post a month and think only 2-3 others can match that. Last year a gravure model did finish in the third spot on the faves list while Nene was just in the 13th position but as of now I may consider her to be my top gravure model, she probably did deserve to be a few spots higher. Not that we were speaking of the fave's list but now that it was mentioned do have a comment or two about it. The list doesn't start until the end of November which is far, far away but kind of worried about how many will be eligible this year. To qualify is easy as someone just needs six solo posts which don't include dramas or if you're an Idol any group posts. In both 2019 and 2020 32 women were eligible, last year it was 28 and the drop was because no Korean actresses qualified. But was just looking at my list of faves and I have a feeling less than twenty will be eligible this year though there may be more posts overall than 2021. So many of faves haven't done much of anything for so long and would hate to see the list drop from twenty to ten.

There's a new Morning Musume gal who was introduced about two months ago who I like immensely but think Nene is my top fave for all who have been introduced over the last three years. She too has been a bit quiet as of late even though she does have that nice pace going of one post a month but she has an excellent reason for a slight slowdown. That's because on March 23rd Nene graduated from Seijo University and their department of Arts and Sciences so congrats to her. It's amazing how many gravure models I post about who have attended college and graduated, they're much more smarter than actresses or Idols. Nene didn't say what her plans will be with a degree but that only happened a week ago and know she'll remain a model and part time newscaster for a while. When you're a popular gravure model like she's become the pay must be fairly good which is why so many with college degrees have stuck with the modeling.

This isn't too large of a post but had done so many for Idols over the last week needed a break from them plus there aren't many gals who I'd rather do a post for these days than Nene. The biggest batch of pics for today are these from her Instagram page but all of them rate an A++++, bottom four are from last week's college graduation.

Really the only thing for today are four mag spreads but know Nene will have many more coming up now that she's finished her schooling, that's what she said in a recent blog post. She also mentioned in that post that her agency paid for most of her schooling. All the spreads have some super duper pics though my complaint is none of them are big enough! Bet many will agree with that as over the last few month she's become such a popular woman here and so glad to see that, first off is this set from the April 2nd issue of Weekly Post.

Nene will be turning 24 in July and why not remain a model for a few more years as she looks so tremendous and you're only young once plus you can always work a regular job later on. I like these two sets here though there's no scantly clad pics and she does have such an attractive face. Nene was the cover girl for the January 25th and February 1st issues of Weekly Ascii.

We've already hit the end, 37 new pics but it really felt less than that. Last spread of the day is from the April 1st edition of Friday with the bottom two pics being from the photo shoot. That fifth pic is one of the top ones of the year, following this spread is a WPB video from last August and the photo shoot for Nene's digital photobook she had for the magazine. EDIT: Forget hat video as yet another one from YT was deleted.
