Not that my words are the most interesting ones to read but they are flowing out and for a change didn't take a break between recaps as I jumped right into this one immediately after finishing the above post. You know where we ended off which was with Min-Ik and Gal-Hee on sort of their first official date, least he considers it that way. Of course the pair have been out many times before but those occasions were either work related or the 'dates' were with Gal-Hee impersonating as Veronica. Speaking of her we only see Veronica in a few scenes this pair of shows after having such a long stretch with dominating the screen time.
At their luncheon, as you can see above, Min-Ik has finally come out with his feelings which are that he's crazily in love with Gal-Hee. She never said those exact words but we viewers and Min-Ik have known how she's felt about him for many episodes. The following day Min-Ik took off from work and showed up unexpectedly at Gal-Hee's house to tell her to do the same thing. Min-Ik just wants to spend as much time together with Gal-Hee as possible and wanted to take his new flame far, far away from any other people.
However his words were overheard by Gal-Hee's siblings Nam-Hee and Joong-Hee. They persuaded Min-Ik to let them join them, what should have been a day alone for the lovebirds instead turned into a family outing. Nam-Hee and especially Joong-Hee kept making Min-Ik feel guilty all day, they've never gone to the beach, eaten at a certain cafe, visited this shop, etc. Whatever their requests were had been filled by Min-Ik much to Gal-Hee's fury as all she wanted to do was to spend a day alone with her boss but now lover(?). Wonder if a main reason Min-Ik was so condescending to the two as one day they may be a part of his family?
The four even had to spend a night at a Bed and Breakfast when Min-Ik drank some soju during his dinner, the four all slept in one room. But Min-Ik was able to slip out and was eventually joined by Gal-Hee as the pair had a nice but guarded conversation which ended with the pair having their first kiss or at least a kiss where Gal-Hee wasn't dressed as Veronica. The manometer hasn't been mentioned in many recaps as Min-Ik no longer wears it but when his blood pressure hits 140 he can see faces clearly. Gal-Hee had asked that question about his BP when they were alone, it's happened twice where Min-Ik was able to see faces clearly but not even sitting next to Gal-Hee it just can't rise high enough.
While Min-Ik was out of the office all hell had broken loose. Hae-Yung's threat of firing everyone in Lee's Euldoguk group came true as all of those employees were referred to the disciplinary department and should expect to be let go any day. They even raided the small driver's room which contained Lee's documents, at least to now no one has been able to decipher her ledger. The employees are in a panic, especially the trio we see often and along with Lee have a plan to hopefully change the mind of the directors. Speaking of the secretaries there used to be four of them, the missing one has been Ha-Ni who is such a looker and wonder why she hasn't been seen in at least ten episodes? She had been Hae-Yung's personal secretary and know she wasn't fired.

It's the following day at the office and before we get to Lee's group which dominates much of the two shows making an appearance was Jung-Soo. He was also a part of Lee's group and had been Min-Ik's driver. Jung-Soo was the man who had attacked Min-Ik in the second episode plus had broken into Gal-Hee's house twice to steal a USB and laptop. He met up with Min-Ik and apologized for every foul deed that he had done, Jung-Soo had called the police to turn himself in which you can see above. But Jung-Soo also explained to Min-Ik about why he had done those evil actions as he had been unfairly fired as Hae-Yung's driver plus revealed a bit about the intentions of Lee's group, all of which Min-Ik had no idea about.
Min-Ik had also met up later with Lee who told him even more about her group plus how and why it was started. It was created because of Min-Ik's father sending a secretary on a dangerous errand to save his prized fish, an errand that led to the secretary being run over and dying. That woman was Dae-Joo's mother and Min-Ik had no clue events like that were taking place at TnT Mobile. He's beginning to change how he looks at lesser employees and we'll see how very soon.
Meanwhile Lee's group is staging a hunger strike outside of the offices of TnT Mobile, so far they haven't been fired but it should happen any day. At their mini camp they're handing out flyers and letting the public know how unfair the company is. Gal-Hee had no idea that this event was going to take place, she's not an official member of the Lee's Euldoguk group but she was a person that was on their list to enroll. When Gal-Hee heard of her co-workers had been going through she became so distraught and wanted to join them.
However her contract was a personal one with Min-Ik and not the company so her first loyalty was to her boss and she went to work as always. It was a quiet day at Min-Ik's office which led him to reflect on some things. The main reason for him having his Prosopagnosia condition was because of his father, had he never sent Dae-Joo's mother to save an expensive fish Lee's group would never have been created. In turn that led to Jung-Soo attacking him which caused his illness, there's been many other incidents which lead back to his father and the other directors. Min-Ik is feeling so guilty about those incidents even though he had no hand in them, he's told Gal-Hee if she believes in Lee's group so strongly she should join them but still has a duty to him during the day.

Min-Ik had given that permission to Gal-Hee during lunch to join Lee's group. She had felt so guilty about eating such an expensive lunch while her fellow secretaries were on a hunger strike, so guilty about the situation that she couldn't touch her food. Min-Ik was seething a bit underneath but as mentioned before he knew everything led back to his father and told Gal-Hee to follow her heart. Which is what Gal-Hee did as after her work day was done she joined Lee's group protesting the working conditions of TnT Mobile and the other secretaries were overjoyed to see her. But don't think Gal-Hee knew what she was getting into as after all it was a hunger strike plus the group were going to spend the nights at their little camp.
This went on for close to four full days, really not much was accomplished as the people passing by couldn't care less about the problems the group had been having at work and usually just tossed their flyers away. Don't think I'm getting ahead of myself here as it seemed less happened in this pair of episodes than any other ones. Not that a lot didn't take place but most of the action centered around the hunger strike of the former secretaries. Calling them former as no word was heard of their firing but got the sense that it happened.
Gal-Hee during the day would still show up at the office to work with Min-Ik as her contract was with him and not the company. Min-Ik was growing quite concerned about her, Gal-Hee was looking a bit pale plus it seemed to him she's lost some weight but after just a few days? On the third day
Min-Ik had even tried conning Gal-Hee into eating as he ordered some of her favorite dishes for breakfast, as much as Gal-Hee was tempted she refused to take even one bite. Min-Ik didn't seem to be upset in front of his new love, if anything he was impressed with her dedication to the group.

As mentioned about 90% of the scenes in the second episode took place at the hunger strike, been flying through this recap so quickly we're in the final ten minutes. Though the hunger strike wasn't getting any public sentiments Min-Ik's uncle Hae-Yung was still quite angry with the bad image the group were trying to throw onto the company and ordered some of his roughnecks to break the camp up. Which is what they were doing on the morning of the fourth day and there wasn't a thing the small group of women could do to stop it.
But someone was able to do that and of course it was Min-Ik who came to the rescue. His medical condition had enabled him to view the plights of others more closely plus he knew none of this would be taking place if not for his dead father. Min-Ik showed up while the roughnecks were tearing the camp down, he identified himself as the main director which sent the men scurrying away. On some of their signs the secretaries had written down with the current directors and the future president, he pointed out to everyone that he was in line to be the future president but wasn't at all upset at their attitude towards him.
Min-Ik told the group to disburse, if they did he would have a talk with his uncle to get them all hired back. To them it seemed like the best scenario they could have hoped for so that's what took place next, Min-Ik meeting with his uncle Hae-Yung. It was a short meeting as Min-Ik came prepared on what he wanted to accomplish, first order was to get the secretaries rehired which is what he told his uncle who laughed him off. Min-Ik knew that would happen so he dropped a bombshell on us viewers and Hae-Yung.... if all of the secretaries were allowed to have their old positions back with better working conditions then Min-Ik would withdraw from the presidential election!
Needless to say that shocked Hae-Yung, after thinking it over for a moment he realized what a bargain it was and accepted Min-Ik's offer to hire the workers back. That would open the door for the uncle to become the next president, to him it was worth it to hire back a few secretaries. However Min-Ik has an ace up his sleeve which we'll learn about in the next episode. As this show ended he had brought out Dae-Joo to a tailor's to get a new suit, Dae-Joo was confused to why as he still hated his family but what an interesting scene it turns into to start off the final recap.

Was going to wait until I finished this recap until viewing the final pair of episodes. But after writing up 1 1/2 recaps in a row needed a break so watched the finale which was quite good or at least the first 80% was. Won't give away any spoilers so the next post has the final recap for this series and it's not often I recap an entire 32 episode drama.
