Have been wanting to do an SKE group post but there just hasn't been enough things for one which is odd considering their latest single just came out on July 24th. Didn't seem as there was as much promoting for this single but that strategy may have paid off as "Frustration" sold 320,000 copies in it's first week. That's the group's highest first week sales in four years and it's nice to see that there's still J-Pop fans who like slightly older groups as SKE has so many members who are 24 and older. So may not be able to have a group post but if that's the case will have one for another big fave of mine who is sitting to Mina's left. She has a brand new spread which may be the top one of the year so will be working on having that post this week.
When you hear fans talking about hot Idols you rarely hear Mina's name mentioned which is a mystery to me. Since the first time I laid eyes on her she's been in my top five for hottest Idols and she is truly something to me. At 150 cm she's another short Idol and why are so many in that height range just so darn bodacious? Mina's first photobook was released two days ago and had been clamoring for one the past four or so years. Thought if the day ever arrived it would be time for me to retire from this blog but will keep things going a bit longer....
Sigh, there's just no superlatives left for Mina. Do have a fair amount of new pics but in all honesty thought there would have been more, especially for mag spreads as there's just two new ones for today promoting the PB. Also have a few SKE things that were promoting the new single such as these from the Real Sound site.
These are from the UtaTen site and the interview was definitely done on the same day.
Outside of Nogi think I've only done two 'pairs posts', one each for AKB and SKE. If there are enough pics that include some hottish ones think this pair could have one in the future, talk about letting your imagination run away with you....
Er, uh, gulp, better keep my lips sealed while I'm still ahead, gulp.....
From August 1st to the 3rd Mina made three mini appearances in some stores, she didn't say where but am presuming they were in Nagoya.
But today there was a much bigger fan meeting event at the HMV store in Shibuya. Pics for the PB were taken in Hawaii and what a photobook this promises to be. Has anyone noticed where Idols go for their photo shoots or what I'm trying to say is how much more Nogi members are spoiled. While most '48' members stay in the area of Japan such as Taiwan, Hawaii or Australia that's not the case for '46' gals. They get to travel to Paris, London, NYC, Sweden, Switzerland and other far away places, guess they can be spoiled seeing as how their photobooks sell like hotcakes.
On to a pair of mag spreads with this first set being from the August 2nd issue of Young Gangan but seems a few pics are the same as her WPB spread that came out a week earlier.
Mina appears in Young Gangan more than any other mag and she's once again the cover girl for their August 16th edition. However the mag doesn't officially come out until tomorrow as these are some advance pics so will come back and replace these once the mag comes out.
