It's been six months since Nanase's graduation so seven posts isn't a bad total, usually when an Idol leaves their group they'll have two posts for a year if they're lucky. But it's a huge slowdown from 2018 as she must have had forty or more posts for the year and hate to say it but those posts may have been more interesting as they had much more variety to them.
Will have the second preliminary post for my 'Top Twenty Faves for 2019' coming up on Friday and have made an important decision. That's not including Nanase on the list and it has nothing to do with not liking her as the opposite is true. Last year didn't have the yearly list as instead had one for my top twenty faves of all time. But had there been a list Nanase would have been #1 by a mile and do feel bad about her not claiming the spot, for this year she'd be about eighth. So will call her the unofficial winner for 2018, what that means she's not eligible for any more yearly lists and moves into 'Nao's Hall of Fame'. Have never done a post for the entrants which of course is small but very select, will have that first post once this year's winner is crowned.
Nanase is still a very busy gal as she's currently in a drama plus co-hosts two talk shows. But her activities aren't as varied as they have been the past few years and no doubt leaving Nogi is a major reason. She appears at very few events and think the last solo one was in March plus only appears regularly in one magazine these days. But Nanase did open an Instagram account a few months back, pics are good but it's like her Nogi blog where she doesn't update it enough.
Last three pics were from a Dior photo shoot but so far no other pics or a CM. But on July 25th she was at an event for Dior/YSL, lots of other popular models were at the event. It was to promote a new lipstick and really hope there's new pics coming from the company as she looks A+!
Nanase's last event besides the above took place on April 20th and it was for a 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show and bet she's been at over twenty of them. But was just at the TGC site and she's not scheduled to appear at their September 7th show, that's a shame as she also wasn't at their last show and always looks so terrific at them.
Sigh, least Nanase is staying busy but about her above partner, sigh again.... Not being at the next TGC show means once we won't see the below pair again and I really like them together. Speaking of the above duo have never had a 'Pairs Post' for Nogi graduates, may have to work on something like that as most of my bigger faves seem to have departed....
Seeing as how there's a shortage of new spreads like to have an encore viewing of an oldie but goldie set. Hopefully haven't posted this spread since it first came out which was a while ago as Nanase graced the February 23, 2015 edition of Big Comic Spirits.
Was reading an Oricon article yesterday about Nanase and how her three photobooks are still selling well. Two of them are in the top twenty while the other is 26th so let's keep our fingers crossed and hope that there's a fourth PB. Every post has always and will always have a slew of new pics from the Non-no site and these are truly some stupendous ones as usual.
Like that bottom pic best of all. Final item for today is that Nanase is the cover girl once again for Non-no and their October issue, after the pics check out a short promo video for it.
