Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nogizaka46: The massive '2019 Magazine scans #24' post plus of course much more....

**** Not that you have to go on a post viewing spree but if I can get 8,000+ views in the next day will set a record by one day(hours?) for the quickest million views, usually average 7,150 a day. If a record is set will have a special milestone post tomorrow with some goodies and whatever, would hate to miss a record by just a few hours.

Between them Nogi and Keya have almost 1,400 posts with Nogi dominating their sister group. But fairly certain this is the first time they've ever had back to back to posts which is kind of unbelievable, often seems they're not busy at the same time. A thought popped into my tiny brain a little while ago which is how slow this year has been for J-Pop releases, slowest year I can ever recall. Only main group to put out three singles were NMB plus perhaps Hina46.
Nogi only released two singles this year while Keya, Morning Musume, SKE and HKT all put out just one single plus none of them had an album. Wonder what happened this year for so many groups to take a step backwards with their releases? Plus all of the groups have lost so many key members this past year and just glad I have so many older recordings to keep me going.
Didn't know who to lead off with today so thought an old standby would do the trick. For five or so years Nanami has been my #1 Nogi member, had she not retired she may have been my number one Idol of all time. However it's getting close to the third anniversary of her graduation and seriously wonder how long she'll remain at number one? Longevity is a key factor on All Time lists so if I ever do that all time list for Nogi members have a feeling Nanami will drop from the top spot but in all honesty there's no person I miss posting about more than her.

As many know have been in the midst of doing my 'Top Twenty Faves of 2019' countdown. The next selection(12th) should take place on Tuesday and then will have a pair of positions next weekend. No new Miona pics for this post as she'll be making the list but her post won't be Tuesday. Figure she'll finish in the eleventh or tenth spot, it's up in the air right now as the battle for those two spots is so close. Really doesn't matter who finishes where as there's hardly any difference between the two positions but it's probably more of an honor to say you finished in the top ten.

Mizuki is a member we'll be seeing a lot of in the next seven weeks as her first photobook comes out on January 21st . Last group post had some promo pics from the PB but the first one here is brand new and she never seemed like a member who would do gravure pics. Following that fabulous pic is her spread from the January issue of CanCam.

No new Minami spreads for today though she will be in the next issue of Bomb. Not promoting the 'Nogi Official Web Shop' but they did have these tremendous pics of her there and who wouldn't want to wear her pajamas!? She also has many other kinds of items there, for the first time will post the link to the site:  https://www.nogizaka46shop.com/category/112

Nogi is getting much more popular outside of Japan and they've really cut back on concerts in their homeland to travel overseas. They recently visited Taiwan once again for some shows, while the group was there Kazumi and Sayuri did an interview with the 'Acfun' site.

Back in September Nogi performed their first show in Shanghai, don't know how popular they are in China but know that at one time AKB were almost superstars there. But the group must be somewhat popular there these days as on November 28th there was the 'Weibo Account Japan Festival', they're a major microblogging site in China. Nogi won the award for being the most popular Japanese Idol group. More pics with Sayuri and she looks so good with her mate for the day who was Mai. The pair accepted the award on behalf of the group and until I saw these pics never thought of them being a duo but have noticed they are close and a 'pairs post' for them could be quite superb.

A member for a while who was getting so popular was Ranze and that happened about 2-3 years ago. She moved up to being a Senbatsu member for a pair of singles then went back to being an Undergirl, bet the main reason was because of the eleven new third generation members. Her mag spreads while never many are always very fabulous and she has this excellent solo spread from the December issue of UTB.

More Ranze and she looks fine in this set too but it's not a solo one. That's perfectly fine as she shares the spread from the January edition of Entame with Mai who always looks perfect and think this pair are also good friends.

Also with a set in that mag was Hinako though she only had three pages which I guess are better than none, sigh....

Said sigh as she's such a fave member of mine, probably top five of all time. Here's a very unique photo which came out last week from the 'All Night Nippon' show as this trio is my current three fave Nogi members and their exact order is from left to right.

My #4 member of all time would be Kazumi and even in that spot she's not all that far away from being number one. Usually end off with the best spread of the day which she has and is from the January issue of UTB. First four pics are older ones from her July set which was in this issue but the other pics are simply out of this world, WOW!!!! Nogi has too many CM's for Mouse Computer to count, they have a brand new batch of them and have one after the dazzling pics.
