Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Mio Imada: 'Young Jump' mini digital photobook scans from November 2018....
Certainly been a busy year for Mio posts as she's tied for having the third most for 2020 and is only four off the lead. The total is twelve posts she's had but three, such as this one, were for her trio of 2018 photobooks but still nine for new happenings is quite impressive. In 3-4 days will be compiling the second preliminary list for this year's faves and will be doing a pair of posts for it. Of course Mio will be on the list and perhaps in the top ten but sadly these older books don't help her for this year as I just create the list on what a fave has done for the present year. However it's still nice to have a complete Mio collection of books and she's really becoming popular here.
Mio is currently in the second season of the "Naoki Hanzawa" drama which once again is getting solid ratings. But I've passed on it as the first season was just so-so in my opinion and may have been extremely overrated but it's still worth checking out if you haven't seen it. Mio had another drama that began on August 2nd called "Daddy is my Classmate". It's another supporting role and I'd like to see how Mio could do in a starring role, preferably one that's a late night series. On to the pics and it's a rather small set at forty pics but most of these 'Young Jump' digital books are. They're mainly outtake pics from Mio's photo shoots for the magazine, it was released on November 1, 2018 which was just a day after her first two regular photobooks came out.
