Welcome to this Baka's blog on his fave Japanese Pop Culture interests.
Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Marie Iitoyo: For the fourth time she'll have the....
.... final post of a month and it's not a new 'Marie tradition' but has just worked out that way. Was going to do a post or two tomorrow and take Tuesday off, still may do them if something comes up but for know am planning on taking the day off. But it'll be like the last occasion where I'll actually be working on some posts which I would like done before Tuesday as think the new version of Blogger will finally be implemented that day. Just viewed "The Urban Legend of Sugisawa Village" film, it's the third of the 'Nogi horror' movies that came out in 2014. Reviewed the first two and while this was the worst of the trio would like to do a pair of posts for it which may take some time.
Will expand on his idea in one of the posts for the film but was thinking of having a few special 'theme weeks' or stretches during a year. For instance during the Halloween period why not review many horror flicks and there are also some dramas with that theme. Could also so something along those lines with Christmas/New Year's, Valentine's Day or perhaps more. There's films and dramas with those themes but also have plenty of Nogi cards/spreads for those holidays and perhaps I can think of some other holidays that Japan and America may share.
Let's get to Marie as this is her post and actually her first one for August. There was one for Marie's 2018 photobook which will end up being her most viewed post ever but this is her first for current activities. However she still has the lead for most posts once again, this is her 16th in this vein and she also has eight for dramas.
Marie did drop to second on the last preliminary list but she'll be in the hunt for this year's top fave until the end and in all honesty is my biggest fave of the past 2 1/2 years. One thing that may help Marie is to start dressing a bit more alluringly, not that she has to do gravure spreads but not as conservative as she has been this year. One thing reason for that is because of the health crisis as it's meant very few events, Marie appeared at so many usually looking so darn good. There's a 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show next Saturday but she's not on the list to attend. Hope she's a late addition as she always looks so stupendous at them and should do a few posts of just pics from the event, these are from their March 2018 show.
For the third time this year Marie was a co-host for the Abema-TV reality show "Wolves are not Deceived" on August 11th but has never made a regular appearance on the show.
No fave has had more posts in the last 2 1/2 years but there's still a few things that have been missed but the amount is finally dwindling. This batch is from the site 'It Girls Style Magazine, there's an interview at the site and what I found strange is there's no date on when it took place. Here's the link to the interview: It Girls site
August marks Marie's second anniversary as an exclusive model for Oggi, as usual have plenty of fabulous new pics from their site.
Plus four pages from Oggi's September issue.
Marie is also a model for the More magazine, some brand new pics from their site.
As I was saying near the top all of these pics look ideal but kind of wish she would 'vamp it up' on occasion, these are from More's October edition.
Marie has had only two of her 77 posts make the list for being among the most viewed posts of the past month. She currently has one on the list which is for her "NO GAZPACHO" photobook and it really needs to be checked out as it's not a perfect collection of pics. After these PB pics have a new video for Biteki/RMK if you interested in watching Marie apply makeup....
