Mina Oba: Sadly, another 'Blast from the past' post....

 

 A 'Blast from the past' post is usually one for a huge fave who hasn't had one for a year or longer! This one qualifies as it's been 22 months since her last, that's where the sadly comes in. Did have one of these posts back in November 2020 but don't know why I titled it that way as it had only been five months since her last post. So while not a lot of new things today for some reason Mina has been on my mind so often lately and she's someone I've missed so much. SKE as a group has done so little the last 1 1/2 years so it's been impossible to do a post for her, then again a good mate of hers from the group has had ten in that stretch so that's extremely odd but she's been the only busy member.

 If you were here from 2016-20 you know how much I've liked Mina who has even made the yearly faves list twice. To me she's one of the all time hottest Idols but there's been so little to post about her in the last 22 months and will we ever see another post here for her? Mina did graduate from SKE in May after being with them for thirteen years, she turned thirty back on April 3rd. If you don't know her well would recommend checking out her older posts as there were a good amount in that four year stretch and not many topped her magazine spreads.... nor her dazzling 2019 photobook!

 Always found it odd she never had a mag spread with her best SKE mate plus there aren't that many pics of them together.... hmmm, with that rivalry between them can understand why....

 This batch of pics here are from Mina's final SKE Theater performance. She was supposed to graduate at the end of April but a few days before that she caught the virus so her official last show was held at the end of May. She did have three early April grad concerts but only viewed the final one, though SKE has been way too quiet as a group since 2020 they still put on such an entertaining show.

 That bottom pic is of Mina taking down her plaque at the SKE Theater. Here's something historical(!) which are her final group cards that came out in April for her graduation.

 Another semi-historical thing which is Mina's final spread as an SKE member that's from the May issue of Entame. Not 100% positive but am almost dead certain this was her first spread since November 2020, she used to have one a month and was often the cover girl.

 Here's her first set of gravure pics in 22 months which is from the September 16th issue of Friday, she deserved more than four pages. That first pic isn't part of the spread but is a promo one for on the 14th Mina has an essay book coming out. In it she wrote of her thirteen years as an Idol and a member of SKE, hopefully that means there will be other new things coming out soon. What I'm hoping for more is a return to gravure modeling, very few do it better than Mina! What's very odd is that since she left SKE she hasn't opened a blog or Instagram account and wonder why that is? However she did open her own YT channel in May but there aren't too many videos yet.

 Why not go back in time for an older spread, this set is from Mina's last post and she was the cover girl for the November 23, 2020 issue of Big Comic Spirits.

 That spread had some outtake pics from her second photobook which came out the week before. That ends this quickie post and as mentioned to me Mina is one of the all time hottest Idols so will bid farewell with some of my top pics. She also has some sizzling videos on YT and if your heart can stand it have one after the pics....
