Kang Han-Na: Her historical third 'Blast from the Past' post....
Twenty months without a post for Han-Na and now this makes it three since February. Actually she's the only Korean actress who has had any posts since 2022 and I do miss doing posts for them. It's always been difficult to do them but even more so as time has gone on, the women I like the most tend to do so little these days save for appearing in dramas and movies. They're certainly unlike their counterparts from Japan who often appear in magazines, at events and model for many sites. Then again actresses from Korea don't need to do a lot of different kinds of activities as their dramas are much longer and often air overseas so they do make much more $$ than the ones from Japan.
In a perfect world Han-Na 😍 would be my #1 woman of all time, in a way she is but you'll never see her on any kinds of lists as they're mainly for women from Japan. However she has made the yearly faves list before and seeing as how she's already up to three posts for 2024 I will work so hard to see that she can hit six posts and make this year's list. Not a huge post but Han-Na has a new drama that began this week which I will be recapping, more info on it further down. So think there will only be four sections to this post but there are close to sixty new pics and if there's ever a chance of doing a post for Han-Na I always jump at the chance!!!!
She may not look it but back in January Han-Na hit the age of 35, to me she's one of those women who gets more attractive with each passing year. First up are these recent IG photos and most Korean actresses tend not to post many of them. But do have a fair amount from the last six weeks, the first three and bottom two are actually from the Key East site which is her agency.
The fourth and fifth pics above were from the set of the "Running Man" show, Han-Na has made 21 appearances on the long running show which is more than anyone else. She will be in the next issue of the Singles magazine so perhaps her next post won't be too far in the future. The spreads in Korean magazines are usually so much smaller than Japanese mags, here's a pair of ancient sets with the first four pics being from the February 2017 edition of BNT while the other four are even older and from the July 2015 issue of Oh Boy!.
I've seen Han-Na in five dramas but none since 2021 which was "My Roommate is a Gumiho". In 2023 she didn't appear in any but had a new show begin this week and she has the lead female role in it. The title of the show is "Frankly Speaking" and Han-Na plays the role of On Woo-Joo who is the main writer for the variety show "Men on the Run". But Woo-Jon is much more than a writer as she also helps out with producing, directing, finding guest stars, blah blah. One day she happened to meet a popular announcer named Song in an elevator which broke down during their passage, Woo-Joo had no clue on who he was at the time. However Song soon came down with an odd condition where he would speak without thinking of what he was gong to say and often he spoke quite harshly.
That got Woo-Joo interested in Song, she really needs a popular male figure to guest star on the "Men on the Run" show and at the end of the first episode has recruited Song to appear on it. That's it for the spoilers and this will be a series that will be recapped beginning in the second half of June. There's twelve one hour episodes and the first show was quite wacky, think it's her first ever comedy role. Below are some screenshots from the first episode and how can someone be so attractive?!
Above is a short trailer for the first episode. Where Han-Na outshines every women is appearing at events, she looks so stupendous at them and wish she appeared at more of them. Will end off with some sparkling events pics from one that took place three days ago for the new drama, after the batch is a video of Han-Na from it and all fans need to view it, she does have a fair amount of fans here.
