Guess it's a good problem as Hina is the only group or individual ever with this unique issue. That's of having too many things to post about, there's honestly so much often don't know where to start or what to include in these posts. Bet the group could have a post every day the size of this one for at least two straight weeks which would mean well over a thousand new pics. Won't be doing that but when a slow day arises need to remember can always rely on these gals for a post.
Am getting to know the members a bit better. After their "Re:Mind" drama finished didn't pay enough attention to them as they did go through a quiet spell. But that spell worked out well as they splintered off from Keya to form their own group and as they say the rest is history. Hina released their fourth single "Sonna Koto Nai yo" on February 19th and what a smash success it's been. First week sales were a little over 558,000 copies sold which was a group record. Don't know what the figures were for week two but the single was in the top ten all seven days for sales. So sure it's broken the 600 K mark and they've probably passed Keya in terms of popularity.
The group also has a drama currently airing titled "DASADA" and gave a quick recap in a group post. Won't have any info on it today as there's already plenty of pics but to me it's not as interesting as "Re:Mind". It's set in a high school and seeing as how almost every member is 21 or older wish they could have picked a more adult theme for the show. Have viewed four shows, six have been subbed, all in all it's okay but it's far from a must watch.
Last group post talked about having a solo one for Mei who I've really been falling for. Probably won't be doing that for her as I think including pics in these group posts should be good enough. Do that for a couple of Nogi faves and it's worked out well for them over the years as they consistently have ten or so pics in those posts. Do have a few individual ones from 2+ years ago which are outtake pics from a Brody photo shoot, don't we need to see her doing more solo spreads?!
Mei will also lead off this next set which features many more members. On February 21st there was a press conference to announce a new variety show called "Hinatazaka46 desu. Chotto ii desu ka?" which will be starting on March 14th. In the show the members will be playing reporters and interviewing real celebrities. Guess it sounds somewhat interesting, will give it a shot as it'll probably be subbed and it appears to be a show that'll either be a big hit or a dud and hopefully the former.
The group was also at another event last week, will have those pics in their next post and odds are it'll be this week. On Saturday the Spring/Summer 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show was held at the Yoyogi national Stadium in Shibuya. It was a one of a kind show as no fans were allowed at the stadium due to the virus crisis in Japan and the arena can hold about 15,000 fans for a show. But it was streamed live plus there were photographers at the show.
As usual Hina had more members than anyone take a stroll on the catwalk. Once again will have to save pics for upcoming posts as there's just too many of them, think eight members did a solo walk plus there was a group segment to promote their new 'DASADA' clothing line. In the drama the girls end up being fashion designers and need to produce a successful line to save a family from going bankrupt. Will have two members today who are Shiho and Kumi, both looked so superb. These are from their two solo walks and actually think the pair may have taken a third stroll.
Did title this as a magazine post but am just going to have a pair of them today though they do total 25 pics. First is this trio who of I'm hoping don't need an intro as many should know their names by now, I'm finally at the point where I can name each member in less than a second. Had held on to this spread for too long which is from a special Flash issue called 'Best of Winter 2020'.
Kyoko was one of the gals above and will try to have another solo post for her very soon, am holding her pics back from the TGC show. She's joined by Shiho and this duo does so many spreads together, that's a huge positive as they look so super duper as partners. This final spread is from the March edition of EX-Taishu. Hina has their own YT channel that features their singles so after the pics have the PV for their current hit.
