Park Eun-Bin: The 'just because she needs a few more fans' post....

Actually could say that about all Korean actresses I post often about, there still hasn't been a post for that group that has made the top ten most viewed list and there probably never will be. These past two years Eun-Bin has become such a massive fave of mine and even more so these days as currently she's my #1 Korean actress. Still quite a long way to go until this year's top twenty list is compiled but at this early date would have Eun-Bin in the top five, if it's a busy year for her then she may have an outside shot at being number one.

Good to have a few older gals be in the list and she'll be turning 28 in September. It's actually been a slow stretch for Eun-Bin the past month which is often the case when an actress wraps up a drama. But have many older happenings to get to and wanted to make sure she hits six posts for the year to be eligible for the top twenty list, should be no problem as this is her fourth post this year. Do have a few new Eun-Bin pics which was from an interview for the Hankyung site.

That interview was for her "Stove League" drama which was such a success. It started out slow ratings wise with about 5% but by the final show hit close to 20% which is very impressive. This weekend will have four recaps that'll cover episodes nine through sixteen, am writing up the third one. Don't know what's taking me so long as I've been able to make recaps a tad shorter, for some reason it takes a bit more motivation to write them up.
In the series Eun-Bin plays the character of Se-Young who is the operations manager for the Dreams baseball team. What an inept club they are as they've finished in last place four straight years. However the team has a new GM who is trying to shake things up to become a winning team, so far he's had mixed results. Se-Young is the only female exec in the league and the new GM does take her thoughts on the players and such very seriously.
If you're a baseball fan you'd probably enjoy this series but after the first episode there's no baseball action which makes sense as it's Winter. But it shows what teams do to get ready for the upcoming season such as signing free agents, releasing players, signing current players to new contracts and many other behind the scenes happenings. There's been talk there could be a second season but it wouldn't take place until 2021 so as to show the team actually playing a season of baseball.

"Stove League" has an excellent chance at being my #1 drama of the year. If that happens Eun-Bin would be the first actress to appear in two of my top shows of a year, back in 2018 her series "The Ghost Detective" was my fave show of the year. No new mag spreads so will go back in time for a pair of them which are way too small but she looks A+ in the pics. First three are from the May 2016 issue of Allure while the others are from the January 2017 issue of InStyle, Korean spreads are usually much smaller than the ones in Japanese mags.

Will also go back in time for a pair of events. This fist set is from September 18, 2014 and a press conference to promote her historical drama "Secret Door", Eun-Bin had turned 22 two weeks before and she certainly does look much younger.

Final set of pics are from March 29, 2017 when she appeared at the Seoul Fashion week that took place at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza. That event usually takes place at the end of March, wonder if this year's will be cancelled due to the virus epidemic? Most Korean actresses seem to be around 170 cm in height but Eun-Bin is just 163 cm which certainly isn't too short. Never realized what thin legs she has but these pics look better than oki doki to me. After the pics have a behind the scenes video from the "Stove League" drama which I thought was entertaining.
