Yui Kobayashi: The first monthly post for her 2021 series(?) kicks off....

 

 Attempted to do this last year too and was partially successful, hit the goal but perhaps not. There were twelve posts last year but none in three months but three months had two posts so the average for having a post per month was hit. Think it may be a bit more difficult in 2021 to have a post a month but it's a goal which I will work on quite hard and think the first three months will be okay.

 Used to have Keya in the title but will skip doing that for now on and just have the member's name. And there aren't many members in Keya who I like more than Yui, just one really and she's one of my top five current Idols, to me she's easily the most likable. What could make a post per month difficult is that Keya has still remained somewhat quiet after their 'rebranding' and new name. Thought we'd be seeing them everywhere after such a long layoff but that hasn't happened and will things pick up as the year goes on? Sure hope so but last year was also a quiet one for Keya yet still managed to have that dozen posts for Yui who did do a few activities outside of the group. 

 Not a lot of current pics for today but when I really want to do a post for someone it's going to happen! Outside of those posts for the top twenty list this could be the first solo post for a Nogi/Keya member in over a month, Nogi has been extremely quiet too lately and maybe it's just that time of year. But do have over forty new pics since her last post plus many older ones that hadn't been posted before and her 2020 posts may have been the best of any Idol. While I don't worry too much about Yui having many posts this year am kind of concerned about her best mate who if she doesn't watch it may be replaced as my #1 Keya gal....

 Keya's first single after the name change to Sakura was titled "Nobody's Fault", it did hit the top spot on the charts and has sold 472,000 copies after five weeks. Hard to say if that's a good figure or not as it's much lower than their last four singles, about 400,000 copies sold which is a huge difference. But then again it may not be too bad considering that way too long layoff plus losing so many members. Also the sales of singles, albums and photobooks have really plummeted the last two months and wouldn't you think sales would have been higher because of Christmas? It had been 22 months since their last regular single so hope they try to remain in the public eye and release another one very soon, say perhaps April?

 That's an A++++ pic above and just stumbled across it. The pic is an outtake one from Yui's photobook and there were no other pics in that vein in the PB which is a shame as she looks so terrific but then again that whole book was quite terrific. Keya's old variety show was called 'Keyakitte' but with the new group name the show's name also changed but everything else is the same. The new show is called 'Soko Magattara' and time flies as they've already had twelve show. It airs on Sunday nights and here's a few screenshots from the January 10th show but not enough with Yui. But there will be in the next show as it's a two-parter, half of the members were featured in one show while the others, including her, will be the stars of this weekend's show. The song they performed at the end was "Blue Moon Kiss" off the new single, was disappointed she didn't center any songs or have a solo one. 

 Will have the screenshots from this Sunday's show in  her next post. But at least Yui looked so magnificent in a kimono, she always looks so magnificent to me though. More kimono pics and these are brand new New Year's promo pics for the group's Uni's on Air' web game.

 Huge slowdown in Keya blog pics, that name has remained the same which is 'Diary'. 

 Guess my next goal should be having a post for her mate, really would like to see both make the top ten again on the yearly fave's list. Let's go back in time with some old 'Keyakise' game cards and almost positive these have never been in a post before. Those bottom two are just so superb and there haven't been any new cards since the name change.

 Shouldn't be a problem with a post in February as I am holding a few things back. For March too as on February 28th there will be a 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show, Yui and a few other members always appear at them so she may have the first post of March. Once again we'll travel back in time and these are exactly a year old from the January 12, 2020 TGC show and how she sparkled....

 Some of the pics I'm holding back are from the With Online site and no model has more pics there than Yui. Should have even more of a collection for her next post and hopefully a spread for their February issue, these are all new pics from the past month.

 We've hit the end and to me Yui's posts are among the best there are if not the best. This is a spread that had been somehow missed from last year and is from the October issue of BLT. While Yui may have the most pics at the With Online site she may have the fewest videos, go figure. But do have a somewhat newish and entertaining one from October after the pics.
