Minami Umezawa: Her magnifique 38th post!

 

 Doing posts for a current Nogi member is quite the rarity these days, think she also had the last one and there's only two members who I try to have posts for. Save for one gal the posts have also slowed way down for Nogi grads, seemed for a while was able to have at least two a month but that hasn't been the case since last Autumn it seems. Nowadays it is tough for me to give a lot of info about Nogi, do know about their singles and such but when I look at the group I think 'who are most of these members from the fourth and fifth generations', it's not the group most of us fans followed for eight or so years.

 So though not a Nogi fan these days will always do posts for Minami and one other member which I think can continue for a few more years. Thirteen months ago Minami was appointed as Nogi's third captain, that wouldn't have happened unless management knew she would be staying for another 3-4 years. If that's the case she just may be a Nogi member until the age of 28, a member hitting that mark hasn't happened often these past few years. Minami's last post was in January for her 25th birthday though to me she could pass for being a few years older, to me she will always be Nogi's most alluring member! But the question is where have her fans gone(?), the last two posts done for her have had the fewest views of any of her previous 37 solo posts.

 Minami isn't nearly as busy as she was from 2018-21 and that's been the case for most current or graduated members. But do have about sixty new pics since that last post plus a few oldies so this should be a post her dwindling fan base here will savor. Will begin off with some photos from her IG page, not that many solo ones and the bottom two are from the PV for the group's next single.

 No new magazine spreads for today but Minami will be the cover girl for the May issue of BLT, some promo pics for it are below. There's going to be a huge 'Girls Award' fashion show on May 3rd and am expecting her to be there so am hoping her next post will be right around then and should have this spread in that post.

 There being no new mag spreads let's have an encore viewing of this set from the September 11, 2023 issue of Big Comic Spirits. Minami doesn't appear in nearly as many mags as she once did but is almost always the cover girl.

 The biggest question of the year to date is what's happened to her one time close mate Yui? It's been over seven weeks since her Keya graduation and not a peep has been heard from her, don't want to take too long of a break or people will begin to forget about you. She and Minami used to be models for the With magazine but that gig ended for them last May after being with the mag for four years. I'd love to see the duo back together for brand new pics and aren't they truly unbeatable?!?!?!?!

 So Minami hadn't had any modeling pics since May and that's a crime with her alluring looks! However a month ago the Classy site signed her up and have some ultra fabulous modeling pics for them and their Tondo collection, there are more which will be in her next post.

 Not many recent Nogi cards but am hoping can have a few in that next post which should be another large one. Quite a few members from the three '46' groups attend those massive 'Tokyo Girl Collection' shows, they all look superb but not nearly as dazzling as they did prior to 2022. However Minami bucked that trend at their March 2nd Spring show that was held at the Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo. Minami took her way too short stroll on the me+em stage and didn't she look so sweltering? Of course she did and when are we going to see her second photobook? Plenty of pics below from the show and after them is a video from it. She's the first model in the video and these days the strolls are way too short as hers was only for 32 seconds.
