Keyakizaka46: Their record setting.... third group post for 2024!!!!

 

 The record setting being this could be their largest group post ever and also perhaps the biggest post for 2024. Then again wonder if it matters, was looking at how many views the other 2024 posts have received and was shocked at how low the totals were so it appears they've lost so many of their fans. Their solo posts were always hit or miss, seems the ones for Hina members were much more popular. But when it came to group posts the ones for Keya blew away the ones for Hina and by a wide margin, really can't give a reason why that's happened. Of course at the top is Yui and though I may sound like a broken record what has ever happened to her???? It's been almost five months since she graduated and not one word has bene heard about her. You hate to think the worst but hard not to at times, such has did Yui run off and elope with someone?!

 Who knows, sure the odds are low with that scenario but then again these days it's hard for a popular J-Pop Idol to just disappear. But I am thinking something must have been going on for when she announced her graduation last November it was just three days after Mizuho's farewell concert and usually members wait a while until announcing their own departure. So I have been missing Yui 😍, more than any other woman I've posted about since this blog was created so in a way does that mean she could be my #1 fave woman of all time? Hmmmm, no but have said she is the most likable woman I have ever posted about and did also say that had Yui remained with Keya until 2025 she would have taken the throne for being my #1 of all time! Will try to do something next month for her, maybe she just got tired of show biz and retired but it's rare when someone disappears without a word....

 It's been exactly five months since the last Keya group post so of course there will be quite a few things for today and all should be brand new for here. Will work on another gigantic post and will have that a week from now. Had also gone over three months without a solo post but did have two recent ones and will admit Yui leaving did make me lose interest in Keya a bit and if you really think about that would make her my most important Idol ever. One other reason for the lack of posts is that the group's 'Soko'' show is no longer being subbed and I enjoyed their variety show much more than the ones from Hina and Nogi. No word on why the team that had been subbing stopped but they had been doing them for over five years but suddenly ceased in October.

 Do try to have as many members as possible in these group posts, least Risa in the second pic has remained busy since she graduated 25 months ago but even she has been taking it easy lately. As most fans know on June 26th the group will release their ninth single since the name change to Sakura. "Jigojitoku" is the title of the single, musically they've been busy as it's their fifth single in fourteen months. Non-musically they haven't been as busy as there has been such a decrease in mag spreads, modeling pics and photobooks plus there's been zero events this year. For the first time a 3G member will be the center and that was to be expected though can't say it pleases me.  That's an okay song which for a change was more of a dance tune than a rockish number and it is subbed in English. The bottom photo above is from the Keya site and it was added five days ago. The non-Senbatsu members are called Backs, from August 23rd-25 they will be holding three of their own concerts at the Makuhari Event Hall in Chiba. The venue holds 9,000 fans and in my opinion have always thought the concerts for the Backs are much better than the ones featuring the Senbatsu members, that also goes for Nogi. Have quite a bit of many other things for today, at the beginning of each month the members post a message and below are the ones for April and March, June and May will be in the next post. No order to the months but didn't include any 3G gals, actually there won't be any of them for this post.

 Can't forget the graduates as they're the ones that made me a fan of Keya. After leaving the group at the end of November Mizuho was a bit quiet but has been busy as of late. She's in a new CM plus a stage play, she's now a model for Aoki and here are her first ever pics for them.

 Aoi has also been doing well, last month she hit the age of 24 and over the last year have included many of her IG photos in posts. That's because no (ex)member's looks have improved so much(!) and to me she looks so super duper! Aoi does a lot of reporting work, most of the IG pics below are from the "Mezamashi TV" variety show and in the bottom photo was fraternizing with the enemy....

 How about more IG photos and these were also posted at the Keya 'Diary' group blog. These superb pics are of Hono and I've wondered what's been up with her? At one time thought she would end up being the group's most popular member but seemed she stepped back a bit which is a shame as I like her quite a bit and her photobook gets a grade of A++++ from me! Had to go back almost five months for the first and last two pics, the final ones we'll ever see of that pairing but will admit to me the second photo is the best of the batch....

 As I mentioned try to include a many members as possible, mainly the ones who seldom have solo posts. Have a pair below who have never had a solo post but I still like both and they're big reasons I miss viewing the 'Soko' show but besides not being subbed these days the 3G members get too much attention. These cards came out in January and February, there's been no new ones yet for the upcoming single. Have two members below with the first being Marino and as far as current members go her looks may have improved more than anyone else's. There's still three Rina's in the group, up second is the youngest is Rina Inoue though can't call her too young as she did celebrate her 23rd birthday in January. To me her pics could be the top ones for today, especially her first four cards and both members have eleven.

 Don't know if it means anything but noticed no member has a birthday in June and there was only one for May. For years both Hina and Nogi had a two page spread in each issue of Friday called "____ Satsu". Three months ago Keya finally joined them in having a two page spread in each edition, this batch below goes backwards from the newest issue which is dated for June 28th.

 As has been the case for Hina the new members are monopolizing the magazine spreads though there's still so fewer of them than there were years ago. Have one recent spread featuring a 2G gal and Karin was the cover girl for the March 13th issue of Weekly Shonen, she's become so popular the last two years.

 Will end off this massive post with some promo pics for the 'Uni's on Air' game. For years they were so dependable on releasing these terrific pics each month but that's no longer the case, there were none or at least very few for May and June. So will have some prior months as they had never been posted before, will have a quartet of members who each have four pics for April and February. First off is the group's oldest member Rina U who hit the age of 27 in January, I think she looks so fabulous and will admit have had a crush on her for a while. Up next if Fukuya, she's 26 in age and which one of then will be the final first generation  member standing? Or could it possibly be Minami?

 Third up is Rei who is my fave 2G member and have I missed doing posts for her, she too is getting up there in age as she turned 24 on April 18th. Last but certainly not least is the group's captain Rina, there's only been one photobook the last fourteen months and would love it if she was up next for one but sadly don't think it will happen. Though in my heart there's only one Yui 😍 in the world there is another current member with that sacred first name! That's Yui Takemoto and she is a smart/goofyish(?) woman who hit the age of 22 in March, the only member to have a birthday that month. Keya has their own YT channel for the members to upload videos, she has the newest one that was added a week ago. Not the most exciting of videos which is after the pics but it was interesting as she tried to pick the winners of the Oaks and Japanese Derby horse races, she is a fan of the sport and an even bigger one is the ex-Nogi member Hinako.
