Yuika Motokariya: Talk about a blast from the past!!!!

 This has to be a record setting post as Yuika's last one was done.... 64 months ago! Wow, at one she was kind of a big fave but have to admit I've forgotten about her the past few years. Then again Yuika hasn't been all that busy as it's been around two years since she last appeared in a drama and in 2019 did virtually nothing. She has hosted a radio show since 2018 and does an occasional event here or there but for the most part has really slowed down on her activities. Not sure why as Yuika is still a bit young despite having been around for so long, she turned 32 last September.

 I think she has a fairly underrated body plus very few actresses can top how attractive Yuika's face is. She hasn't gotten hitched yet nor had any children so perhaps after being busy for about fourteen years she just wanted a long breather and she has been a bit busier since November. That last post for Yuika was for her 2014 drama "Soko wo Nantoka 2" which I didn't finish as it was kind of boring. Do think Yuika is a decent actress but she's had the same problem as others as she doesn't pick the right dramas to be in, so far none are scheduled for this year.

 Was checking on Yuika's Instagram and Twitter pages to find out she truly hasn't done much this past 1 1/2 years. One thing you may want to check out is her "Air" photobook from 2011 and the entire PB has been posted.

 Hadn't realized Yuika released another PB back in early 2017, need to hunt it down. With this incredible splash of photobooks lately she's joined the herd as fifth PB "Cantik" came out last Friday, there was an event for it the following day.

 Pics for the book were shot in Indonesia last Autumn. No promo pics for it but do have a trio of mag spreads that feature outtake pics from it. First off is this small set from the February 21st issue of Shukan Post, why'd they bother with only three pages?

 Much bigger set to promote Yuika's PB from the January 25th edition of Shukan Gendai.

 Last and certainly not least is this set from the February 4th issue of Flash. I do like Yuika quite a bit so hope this isn't a small blip and she does return full time to acting, though her dramas are usually only so-so would give her next one or two a try. No recent videos so have a real golden oldie after the pics which is from October 2008(!) and a Yuika photo shoot for Bomb magazine, she's never had a gravure video to date and probably never will but today's is a pretty darn good watch.
