As I've mentioned many times Minami will always be the youngest person I post about but she has a certain aura about her so you'd think she was five years older. She won't be eligible for this year's faves list, Minami easily will have the six posts needed to qualify and she may already be above that number but her age disqualifies her. Next year however she'll be old enough and I could really see her have a very high position, not #1 but perhaps in the top seven or so. Not a huge post today, there are quite a few new pics but not many different happenings. But am hoping this will be the first of about four posts for Minami over the next seven weeks as she has a new drama beginning in two weeks plus will be in a film coming out in August.
Am taking a slight break from viewing regular dramas but will be watching her new one, no info on that series for this post. Did mention recently that for July would get back to reviewing films which I haven't done for over a year and can't think of a good reason why that's happened. First up will be "He Won't Kill, She Won't Die", have watched half of the two hour film and hopefully Thursday will be doing some posts for it.
Though it's been a fine film should have started off with a different movie. That's "Kakegurui" from last year and that TV drama has been one of my faves from the last few years. If you're a 'Liar Game' fan then that's a series you'd enjoy as it's so similar. So after the above film is finished and reviewed "Kakegurui" will be up next. As many know Minami had the lead role in the drama playing the gambling addict Yumiko and what a terrific performance she did in the series. There was a second season which may have been as good as season one had it more than five episodes. It was mainly a lead in for the film and some screenshots from that second season.
Will have info on the new drama in her next post. Minami's only modeling gig is with Voce, she'll be the cover girl for their next issue and hope to have that spread in her next post. Some new pics from their site with the last three being from a mini interview.
Speaking of mini that's the size of these two mag spreads. Minami was the cover girl for the June 29th issue of Aera yet the spread was only two pages(?!), other five pics are from the June 25th edition of Shukan Bunshun.
"Love Me, Love Me Not" is the title of Minami's upcoming film which will be released on August 14th. It's a high school flick and can't wait until she stops doing those kinds of movies, not that there's anything wrong with them but there's been so many and a horror movie is one she's never appeared in. Today is July 6th and the first event for the film was held though at events there's still no audience but it was streamed live and viewers could ask the cast questions. Plenty of superb pics from the event, I'm really into Minami's conservative style and hope she never changes that. There's a few videos of the event on YT but instead of one of them following the new pics is a longish new CM for JA which also stars such a huge ex-fave of mine.
