Nogizaka46: Another bonus.... 'Yuki Yoda post'!!!!
This was definitely a 'spur of the moment' post but one I think many Nogi fans will enjoy. There's only three parts to this post but there's a total of ninety new pics, the bottom 55 are quite entertaining. In about ten days will be posting Yuki's entire second photobook, it's finally dropped out of the top ten for sales but has sold over 190,000 copies which I think makes it the third best selling solo Nogi PB to date.
Bet there may be another Yuki post within the month as she'll be appearing in her first film "Grand Blue" which will be coming out on August 7th. Originally the movie was going to be released on May 29th but like so many other films and dramas the date was pushed back, still no word on when the "Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken" movie will have it's premiere.
Mentioned there's only three segments to this post, probably could have had more but ninety pics is more than enough. Though "Grand Blue" will be Yuki's first time in a film she did have a large role in the "Mob Psycho" drama that aired in 2018. Had forgotten all about that show and never did view it, wonder if it's worth checking out? Yuki is an exclusive model for 3-4 magazines, one is Bis and they had plenty of superb new pics at their site.
Don't know if they'll be any events for that upcoming film but should see Yuki doing a few interviews and appearing in mags to promote it. Speaking of magazines no Nogi member has been in more spreads the past year than Yuki, way too many to count. She's the cover girl for this huge set which is from a special Flash issue called 'Best of Early Summer'.
What gave me the idea for this solo post was her appearance in the 'Nogi 46 Hour' TV special that ran from June 19th to the 21st, Beam Subs is doing some of the individual segments. Will have one more post from that special TV show coming up and hopefully a few more than just one. Yuki's solo segment was on day two and what an entertaining twenty or so minutes it was. Really made me miss the old days of their 'Construction' and 'BINGO' shows which were so fun but these days they're too often unwatchable.
Yuki did a 'daring' activity which was to get her hair cut on the show. She mentioned it had been about six years since it was last cut and she was a tad nervous at first. Yuki is also a model for Maquia and they had one of their hairdressers come in for the segment. Her name was Kato who made a good suggestion which wasn't done. She said why not save all of the cut hair and auction it off, bet the strands would also be a huge seller at Nogi's online store!
The show was aired live, could get a bit tiring just watching someone get their haircut so Yuki had a pair of unexpected guests. They were Erika and Sayuri whose conversation with Yuki was a bit informative and entertaining. For instance she just turned twenty on May 5th so they were curious if she tried alcohol on that day. Yuki admitted she did and tried many drinks with beer being her first drink ever. She did admit to falling asleep too quickly but her goal is to build up her tolerance!
That conversation went on for a while, most of what was said is in the screenshots and what made the segment so enjoyable was that most of what was said was off the cuff. Cutting hair does take a while so the action went back to the main studio where Miona was the main emcee. She had a segment too but don't know what it was about, hopefully that'll get subbed. So at the conclusion of the 24 minute segment Yuki made an appearance in the studio as her new hair style was complete, too early for me to say which style is better but Yuki did want a more mature look which was successful. Plenty of screenshots here from the show which as mentioned was a really fun watch.
