Don't know it happened but this is the first regular group post in nearly six months! Of course I haven't forgotten about them as there's been six solo posts plus a pair for their variety show. Didn't realize until two minutes ago that there was such a long gap in these kinds of posts and don't know how it happened. So even though today's is a huge post there's probably many other activities which were overlooked. As mentioned a few times recently expect a big increase in Hina posts, they still won't have nearly aa many solo posts as Nogi but may have more group ones.
Last week Hina released their second album, first under the Hina name as the first was when they were known as Hiragana46. This new album is already a smash success as it topped the charts selling 208,000 copies. All of their four singles are on the album plus a few new cuts. They've really eclipsed their older sister group Keya who are a bit of an afterthought in today's world of J-Pop. Won't get into Keya as there may be a group post next week but they need to look at Hina and their management on how to do things right. While I prefer the Keya members a bit more Hina's are much likable and work so well as a team.
Those are the covers for the album above which had the simple name of "Hinatazaka". Have a bit of everything today but as mentioned there's probably so much that that I've missed from the past six months. Not sure where to start as there's close to eighty pics, why not a mag spread and will also end off with a few of them. Every issue of Friday Hina has a small two page spread, have the past seven of them here which is only fourteen pics and go back to the beginning of September.
A member I really adore is Mei who we've been seeing much more of lately but never has enough solo pics. Hina's gals are the best when it comes to posting pics on their blog and could do many posts dedicated to them, these super duper ones are since the end of August.
Do have some terrific solo pics of Mei from the new issue of Overture. You may have seen a birthday pic above for on August 23rd she hit the age of 22.
She was also in the September 22nd issue of SPA! and that mag always has such small spreads, bottom two pics are from the photo shoot.
Bit late with these pics but did have some in a pair of solo posts. The Autumn/Winter 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show was held at the Saitama Super Arena on September 5th, no fans were allowed but it was steamed live. About ten Hina members were there and they often have just as many at those as Nogi and Keya combined. At that show they were promoting their new 'DASADA' clothing line which was the title of their Spring drama. Have some pics here of Ayaka who will be turning 22 in a few weeks, you may recall if you read the recaps for their 'Amashou' show that she was one of a trio of members who had never used a can opener(!), how is that possible these days....
Another member who I've really grown to like is Konoka and she just have the most attractive face of any '46' member. She was just in the hospital for a few days with an eye problem, she spent about five days there and it has been an issue with her for a while but she seems to know how to deal with it and hope it doesn't hold her career back in any way. As I mentioned the Hina gals do such an excellent job uploading pics to their group blog and Instagram accounts. Have plenty of fabulous ones here of Konoka, when you look at the above ones and these doesn't she look so much like Risa?! That's a very high compliment and she's not much younger as she turned 21 last April.
Will to get to most members in these group posts but will try to stay with the gals who are 21+ in age unless they share a spread. Am going to hold one mag spread back for the above new fave as I don't want to see another long gap un posts. May have the next one this weekend and also will be recapping a few episodes of their variety show. Am going to end off with a pair of mag spreads featuring Mirei, just said I would only include pics for those 21+ in age yet she won't hit that age for two months! In all honesty did think she was a year or two older than she is but just checked and she won't be turning 21 until December. She's been with Hina for so long just presumed she was much older as all save for her and one other first generation gal are at least 22 in age. But she appears in so many mags you do have to include her in these posts, this set is from the Summer edition of 'Flash Best'.
Mirei also did such a superb job in the group's "Re:Mind" drama, she has the final set for today which is from the September issue of BLT Graph. The group has a newish CM for Lypo-C, you can view a behind the scenes video of it's making after the pics.
