Sure you read the above post for show #70, this should be a bit shorter as I won't need to explain some things such as who the hosts are and why I've decided to begin watching this show which airs on Sunday nights. Hina has 22 members and very few have left over the four years they're been together, just two and one was because of a mini scandal so even they're not immune from them. Let's get to the action and the theme for this episode was 'Naive Members'.
You would think everyone above the age of five has used one and it's something that is used a few times a week. However that wasn't the case for Ayaka who is about to turn 22 in age, also Mikuni had never used one. Rounding out the threesome was Hina and she was in almost every 'challenge', has she led a very sheltered life? To make things a bit more difficult besides having a can opener available to open a can of peaches many other objects were there to confuse the gals which worked.
Even if an instrument has never been used you should know what it is, somehow none of the three knew what a can opener was! They tried every method to open the can of peaches, even using a Swiss army knife. They had three minutes to attempt this 'feat' and with about five seconds to spare Ayaka was successful, she was the only one of the three to figure out which object was a can opener!
Up next were a quartet who had never tried black coffee which isn't that much of a rarity. They were paired off and the object was to create a commercial from their first tasting of black coffee though of course they were used to that variety of tea. Like all of the skits it was entertaining but not sure companies lined up to have them represent their coffee... then again who knows?
So up next is Hina once again who claimed she never raised her voice in an argument. That is until she was pressed by the hosts and seems she's had a short temper with her father on occasion. So to reenact one of those times the co-host Kasuga pretended to be her father. He brought home one of her fave foods which was Manhattans but she refused to eat them. After that the father and daughter got into a bit of a heated spat which turned out to be the best segment of them all.
The final 'challenge' for the naive members was 'Who hasn't made a paper airplane?' which may not be so common these days. Can't think of the last time i attempted to make one and if you want to create a plane that flies far it does take some time and effort. Time wasn't one thing the above trio had nor much technical ability as the planes they designed wouldn't get one inch off the runway! Especially Mei's creation which just had one wing, needless to say none of their planes flew that far and it's a good thing they have day jobs....
