Viewers really like these kinds of lists whether they're for photobooks or ones like these with the 'most popular' of the year theme. Was going to do this a day after Christmas but said why wait, am beginning this on the 22nd and hope to finish it today(did!). You may not think so but these 'most popular' posts take longer than any others. So have the top ten most viewed posts for 2022 and also a trio of special posts which I'll soon describe what they are. Would presume these top ten posts for the year are ones you viewers enjoyed the most and that fourth bonus is of my own personal choice. For this year my favorite post or at least the one that had the most sweltering pics was the intro one for Yuki Yumichi. I fell for her instantly π and viewers like her too as that post has over a thousand views. Didn't do that post until two months ago which is why it didn't make the top ten, link to the post is right above. All of these stats were complied on December 21st, sure there wasn't much of a change in one day.
#3.... Erika Ikuta, 4,794 views for her "Intermission" photobook
This post was done on July 11, 2019 but viewers will never get tired of the breathtaking photos! This post was the fifth most viewed one of the year and what a shame we'll never see Erika do a photo shoot like this again! I like her immensely but will confess I tend to forget about her more than anyone else, guess she's overdue for a post....
#2.... Yuki Yoda, 5,240 views for her "Mukuchi na Jikan" photobook
This post would have ranked third for the year and is still in that section for most viewed post of the last thirty days. The second half of the year saw such a decrease in Yuki posts, last year she had the final post of the year and will do that again for 2022 which may be her best post of the year!
#1.... Kyoko Saito, her photobook "Totteoki no Koibito" had 6,227 views
This was the second most viewed post of the year and you'll be seeing Kyoko once again! All three of these books were just beyond perfect and which of the trio would you consider to be the best one? Can't go wrong with any of them and my choice would be the above book.
On either December 29th or 30th will do a post for who the most popular women were for 2022, that could be considered you viewers 'faves of the year' or similar to my faves list.
#10.... Hina Kawata, her March 3rd post titled Her third wondrous post' had 2,885 views
The only post not to have 3,000 views though it was awful close, in past years having this amount of views would have meant a top five position. Hina is one of three women women to have a pair of posts make the top ten, one was a given but this was a bit of a surprise. For the first time ever no posts done in a year for a Nogi member made the list though one post should next year.
#9... Yume Shinjo, her "Yumeiro" photobook post done on December 3rd has 3,047 views
A 'Nao Year' begins on December 1st, this was the only post from the last month of 2021 to make the list. Glad it did as this is one terrific book and the mystery is what's happened to her? Been trying to do a post for Yume for well over a month, had 35 new pics in November but there's been zero since then, she had five posts in the first half of the year but only two since July 1st.
#8.... Miyu Murashima, her June 15th 'First intro post" has 3,128 views to date
Her first ever post and as they say the rest is history!!!! Not 100% positive but it wouldn't shock me if she ends up being the most popular woman here for 2022, that list will be done in about a week. Miyu just released her first regular photobook two days ago, do have a new magazine spread for it but there hasn't been much else but still hope to have her next post by the end of the year.
#7.... Miyu Murashima, 'WPB Digital Book' post from July 22nd has 3,248 views to date
In all of the years that I've been doing these kinds of posts it's only the second time someone has been back to back.... sure most aren't looking at her back!!!! Right at the end of the year, perhaps on the final day of December will do a post for who the most popular women were here for 2022. You'd think with having two posts in the top ten that Miyu would be the odds on favorite so be number one. Haven't began on the stats yet but wouldn't surprise me at all if that was the case..... but then again another huge fave of you viewers who you're about to see may have a say on who is number one!!!!
#6.... Asuka Kawazu, 'Her ninth sweltering post' done on April 22nd has 3,455 views
For the first time ever there were no close position battles, one year there was a tie and the odds against that are extremely high. This is a fave we all like and also all have been missing! Just did a post for Asuka about three weeks ago but think it was her first one in at least five months and really don't have a clue why she's been MIA for so much of this year.
#5.... Risa Yukihira, Her third exalted post" done on April 14th has 3,530 views
If number seven isn't the most popular woman here for 2022 then my money may be on Risa. Actually the safest bet is betting a quinella on both of them!!!! She's had 23 posts since the first week in April and don't see those posts slowing down for a while.
#4.... Hina Kawata, July 3rd post for her "Omoide no Junban" photobook has 4,780 views
Who would have though at the beginning of the year that Hina would have had two of the most popular posts for 2022?!?! Bet no one did and that includes myself but this is one terrific book, many years it would have been #1 for me but she picked a year where the books were out of this world! But I still had this ranked number three for my top photobooks of the year, glad many agreed with me.
#3.... Hono Tamura has 4,991 views for her "Ippome" photobook post done March 23rd
Here's a very pleasant surprise as there are some Keya members that are still popular here and what a superb book this was. The book was released in August 2021 but always wait a while before posting '46' books. Hono is someone I like quite a bit but it's been so hard to do solo posts for, she's had five to date but wish it closer to twenty. This book has sold close to 90,000 copies which is Keya's best seller over the last three years so will we ever see a second?
#2.... Risa Yukihira, her June 16th post "The newbie...." has 6,265 views to date
After a while start to run out of things to say about someone! As mentioned Risa has had 23 posts in a little over eight months, three for December and know she'll have at least two in January. Keep thinking should I have had her higher than the tenth position on this year's faves list? Would have liked to have had her higher but if you look at the list you can see why the nine above her may have been more deserving.... but there's always 2023!!!!
#1.... Kyoko Saito, her January 18th 'Her mesmerizing 21st post' has 7,585 views
Here's a surprise for #1 of the year, not that its a post for Kyoko but the what kind of post it was. However it was a terrific post and all of Kyoko's since 2019 have been. So she had two of the three most popular posts for this year, this one and the one for her 2021 photobook. Last year Kyoko was the #1 popular woman here but she's not going to take the top spot again. Not sure where she'll end up but I'm thinking about fifth but that doesn't mean it's been a bad year for her. The views for posts have really increased this year so Kyoko may have a higher average this year compared to 2021 but so hasn't everyone. The most popualr woman is figured out by how many views their posts get.
