Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida....if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the rightplace(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Nao's top sixteen Faves for 2022: Position #3, the beyond irresistible Hinako Kitano
This year's countdown began on November 21st, the day before finalized the top sixteen(20). Every year I'll make some changes to the original list, perhaps moving number eight up two spots and the two above down a position. But this was the first year that didn't happen as there were zero changes from that first sixteen. However will admit if this was done a week from now then she may have switched with #2, those two have flip-flopped a few times the past few weeks. This top five is so strong, all had a shot to be number one this year so even finishing fifth was quite an achievement. The next five, spots six through ten, may look close as far as the positions go but the top five were heads and shoulders above them, they really separated themselves from the pack.
As far as accolades go no woman has ever had such a year like Hinako did in 2022 and what she did will never be duplicated! She finished third on this year's faves list, was in the second position on the 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list and when she graduated at the end of April was my #1 all time Nogi member and no one will eclipse her. It's taken a while but Hinako's second photobook that came out in February has moved it's way into being my number one book of the year, plus she had two of my five photos of the year which is this pair.
You'd think with all of those honors that Hinako would have been #1 this year but that didn't quite work out but she wasn't all that far away. Number two was a bit more consistent though like I said that and this position flip-flopped a few times. When you view the posts for the top two hopefully you can see why they were slightly ahead and in all honesty couldn't have gone wrong with any in the top five being #1 for this year.
I was worried about this post more than any other one for the top ten as she's been a bit quiet the past five weeks but it still will be a super duper post. Hinako had sixteen posts this year and there's no way she'll ever top that, would be happy with half that amount next year. To my surprise her post-Nogi career has gone very well and though I was sad when she left things have worked out so well and hope it can continue. Let's start off with some photo from her IG page, she's really slowed down on them as this is it from the past three weeks.
Hinako has been in two dramas since leaving Nogi. The first was a Summer show titled "Shounen no Abyss" and though she did an okay job the series itself wasn't all that good. Her latest one is called "Keishicho Kosatsu Icika" which is a much better drama though her role is smaller, at the present time am unsure whether I'll recap it but it is a solid series. For the new show she did an interview with TheTV.jp site, in the drama she plays the role of.... Minako Kitano(!) who is a clerk at a police station, here's the link to the interview: TheTV.jp site
Comparison photo time!!!! Who looks better slightly submerged beneath the water(?), the photos are so similar and no matter who you choose the answer will be correct!
In a bit of a spoiler that's Yui above who will be number one this year but sure most viewers knew that. Hinako has a large supply of Christmas pics from the past and could have had more than these, many had never been posted before.
No recent magazine spreads so let's have an encore viewing of her March 1st Flash spread that had outtake pics from her photobook. I really like that fifth pic and hope that.... An apple a day doesn't keep the Hinako away!!!!
Hard to top this trio but that second GIF makes your(my) imagination run a bit wild....
Back in August Hinako became a model for the Vannie U site, she had some superb Summer collection photos. In her last post had many new ones for the site's Autumn/Winter collection, have even more superb photos and wouldn't mind seeing her do more modeling.
We've hit the finale of this post and will end off with some photos plus the link to Hinako's terrific second photobook that was released in February. At first I was kind of lukewarm on it as the pics were actually too perfect(!) but over time it become my #1 of the year. It was a decent seller too as sales were about 55,000 copies sold and was the seventh best selling Idol book of the year. Hinako opened her own YT Vlog a little over a month ago, sadly no gravure videos but one can dream!
