Not much of Yui in this post but she will have such a super duper one in three days for she'll be finishing #? on this year's faves list. Not much going on recently with many of my larger faves and didn't want to keep having posts for the same few over and over again. So thought what kind of semi special post can be done, my tiny brain came up with the idea of a Keya Christmas post and wouldn't I love to see the above under my tree!!!! The group has been a bit quiet as of late so didn't think another group post could be done this year which would have meant these pics would have been a bit outdated. So while not all that much variety this should be a decent post which Keya fans will enjoy and there's probably close to 140 new photos!
Hmmm, my tree will be big enough for more than one member!! So if you didn't hear the news Keya's next single will be coming out in exactly two months, it'll be their 14th overall and fifth since the name change to
Sakura. That news just came out this week so there's zero info about it and there should be some when the next group post is done. Hopefully there will be one before but on January 14th a trio of members will be at the Winter 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show that will be held in Shizuoka, will do a post the day after. Here's who will be in attendance for the three groups, not as many members as usual but least some Hina gals will be there. Off track for a sentence but just did
Saya's first post three weeks ago, she's to the left of
Yui in the pic and will have her second post around then.
Every time Keya releases a single they change their uniforms and also their profile pics at the group's site. Here are the new ones for the members and presume these will be the uniform they'll soon be wearing though I prefer the ones you see above.
Just eighteen members left and that's a good size as it means most members won't be overlooked and will get a turn in the spotlight. Rumor has it there will be some third generation members coming in though they won't be on the next single, really have only heard a rumor which I hope isn't true. Not that new members are bad but hope they would wait a while longer. Each month the members have a message at the Keya site and of course these are for December, last pic of
Yui you'll be seeing today.
Plenty of pics for the holiday that have never been posted, most may be rolling their eyes but know all Keya fans will enjoy these. First off are these older cards from 2021 that had never been posted, none so far for 2022 and they wait too long to release them. Have a trio of third generation members who are
Rina I and I really like the way she's been looking and she's overdue for her first solo post. After her is
Akiho who is the only member from Shizuoka but won't be at the show, rounding out the trio is Keya's new captain
Rina M.
Can't forget four of the five remaining first generation gal, leading off is
Fuyuka who will be turning 25 the day the next single will be coming out. She's followed by
Mizuho who will be at that
TGC show, third up is
Minami and we need to see more of her! Last up is the group's third
Rina who is
Uemura, she'll be turning 26 on January 4th and is now Keya's oldest member. I think she is such a cutie, have never done a solo post for her but the goal is to have her first right around her birthday.
We also can't forget my two huge faves who graduated this year who are of course
Risa and
Yuuka, did add in a few 2020 cards.
Those above are older cards but the vast majority had never been posted. But there are new pics for this year's Christmas which are promo one for the 'Uni's on Air' web game. Have sixteen members and can't figure who I forgot, will after doing this and that member's will be in the next post. Will have four sets and each member will have four photos which to me all rate an A++++! Once again leading off is Rina I and she too has a birthday next month so will also try to have her first solo post then. After that is Keya's other Yui and is the only member to have been born in March! Third up is Hono who is so popular here but can never get enough things together for another post, rounding out this first quartet is Karin and many fans think she'll be the center for the next single.
Second foursome begins off with
Kira, the girl who never smiles(!) and she too has a birthday on January. Following her is
Mizuho who is the group's second oldest member, after her is the new captain
Rina M with
Hikaru in the cleanup spot. Have been working on her second post and really hope to have that soon.
We're getting there, up first in the third batch is
Ten who will also be at that upcoming
TGC show. Following her is
Fukuya with
Rina U right behind her, with three
Rina's in the group why haven't the trio had their own song?
Marino is up next and to my surprise she's celebrating a birthday in two days, half the group seems to have been born in a three month stretch.
To wrap up this post we have the quartet of Rei who to me would make for a fine center for the next single though it probably won't happen. Minami is up next and following her is Hikari, she'll be turning 24 soon but looks so much younger. Last up is Rena, she too has a birthday in January so hope to have a post for her. Figured out who was missing and that's Yumiko, she announced her graduation but it won't be taking place for two months, is that why she had no Christmas pics for the game or did I just miss them?
