Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida....if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the rightplace(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Nao's top sixteen Faves for 2022: Position #10, the seductive Risa Yukihira
Four women who were introduced this year made the list of my top sixteen faves for 2022, they were positions fifteen, this one and the next two. After years of valiant trying(!) one finally made the cut in the 14th spot, that means eleven of the sixteen have appeared on previous year's lists. So while I often moan about my bigger faves not being busy that's far from the truth and won't do that again.... maybe. Risa's first ever post was at the beginning of April, this is 21st overall for the year so while she didn't have the most posts for the year her pace in the last eight months may be a record.
Risa ended up being the toughest women to figure what position she deserved to be in. To me tenth is very impressive but on the other hand had been thinking of having her all the way up in sixth. It's more difficult for a gravure model to finish high on the yearly list, while their books and mag spreads are often second to none they don't do nearly as many different activities as actresses or Idols do. So when a gravure model can end up in the top ten that's really saying something and only four other models have ever done that, there wasn't much difference between this and position #8. Right after Christmas do a pair of lists, one is for the most viewed posts of the year and the other is for who the most popular women are. That's figured out by how many views their average posts get and Risa just may take the top spot, haven't looked at the stats recently but wouldn't think she'd be lower than second.
You know the top nine positions are quite string when someone who has such out of the world pics only finishes in the tenth spot!!!! Risa got a late start as a gravure model as she's only been doing it for less than two years. At one time she was an OL and then moved on do being a Race Queen(!). She turned 28 in June so wonder if her career as a model will be a short one? Lot of new pics for today though not many recent activities, the last two months of a year tend to be a bit slowish. First up are these recent Risa pics from her IG page, not nearly as many as usual.
Been holding on to this next set since the end of October. It's a mini WPB photobook that only contains twenty pics and why so small? The title of the digital book is "Prologue" and it features outtake pics from Risa's 2022 WPB photo shoots.
Risa's popularity has really risen this year as she's often the cover girl for the magazines she appears in. Have two new sets with the first being from the November 29th issue of Flash.
We've hit the end, even though it's been a bit of a slow month for Risa there were still 61 new pics. Final set for this post features her as the cover girl once again and the spread is from the December 2nd issue of Young Gangan. No videos for either spread so after the pics have one from Young Jump that came out two months ago.
