Nao's top sixteen Faves for 2022: Position #6, the unrivaled Risa Watanabe

 In the last post for the countdown was talking about how four of my current top five Idols graduated from their groups this year, they finished between seventh and third on this year's list. Also all four finished in the top twelve on the all time faves list so they're all more than one year wonders! All four were extremely busy in 2022 as three set a personal record for most posts in a year but sadly know from here on out there will be a decrease in posts. Out of the four Risa has had by far the most posts since 2018, actually the second most of anyone here. But I worry about her more than the other three as far as future posts go. She needs to expand he activities a bit, she still appears at those large fashion shows but is still a model for only one site where she also has 90% of her magazine spreads. However have been wrong in the past with my semi dire predictions, really hope Risa proves me wrong for as most know there's no one I like more than her.

 This makes it five years in a row for Risa making the fave's list. Want to talk about consistency(!), in those years she's finished in the seventh, second, sixth, fourth and now sixth positions. That's a yearly average of being in the fifth position and that's the best of anyone who has made the list three or more years. This was a decent year for Risa as she did take the top spot on my second 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list and did have sixteen posts which tied her for the most of any ex or current Idol. All of these countdown posts are large but wish there were more newer things for Risa and another fave who finished higher. This is her first post in nine weeks but there haven't been too many recent activities in that period but do have some older things which may be new for here.

 Of course not being with Keya means there's never going to be any new cards, variety show screenshots, magazine spreads with others, etc. When Risa graduated she did open her own site and an IG page. However she doesn't update them often enough(!), this small batch is it from the past month and she used to have many more pics at Keya's 'Diary' blog.

 Hopefully she's just taking a breather before a busy 2023. So hope this post hasn't sounded too 'down' as that wasn't the intention, the problem is Risa has set such high standards for herself over the years it's so rare not to see her busier and have a lot of new photos for this post. It's almost that time of the year and have plenty of X-Mas pics from the past, she just may have more than any Keya member.... once again have a feeling Santa won't give me my ultimate present, sigh....

 No good reason for these two photos save for that the trio looks so darn good together! One of her mates is on track to be this year's #1 fave, the other is another Keya gal who I've been working on a post for but it hasn't worked out so well though December is a slow month for happenings. 

 Of course it's that mate who will probably be number one this year. Risa is still a model for Non-no and her photos at their site are just as terrific as ever, these are all recent pics. Can't understand why she doesn't do more modeling work, sure many other sites and magazines would love to have her.

 Don't know I forgot to include this spread in her last two posts but somehow did, she was the cover girl for the November issue of Non-no. Am holding back her January spread where she shares the cover, want to make sure there's no large gap between posts.

 As mentioned Risa is still appearing at those large fashion shows and of course she looks so fabulous at them! This batch is from the November 19th 'Tokyo Girl Collection' show that was held in Kitakyushu, she took her stroll on the Misch Masch stage.

 We've hit the finale of this post, lot of pics though wish there were more recent ones. Did say in the beginning was a bit worried that there's going to be a big drop off in Risa posts but then again she is a very smart woman so hoping my semi-worrying will be something to laugh at! How about ending off with some ultra superb photos, we probably will never see any more gravure ones but her regular modeling pics have always been so super duper! A Blue-Ray/DVD just came out three days ago for her May 22nd graduation concert, after the pics is a promo video for it. I do have the streamed version of the show, haven't watched the final twenty minutes as I wouldn't be able to control the tears!
