Once again Nogi is dominating the top ten most viewed posts for the last month list on the right hand side, think they currently have seven there. Actually it's kind of an achievement as it seems every post these days is getting at least 25% views than they did a year ago. Even with my laptop being on the fritz for about two months the past year has been the busiest one ever for visitors so thanks to all who keep returning.
Seems like any post with Erika at the top is guaranteed to make the top ten, one of these days will post all the scans from her "Intermission" photobook. In week four it sold 11,000+ copies to bring it's grand total to 233,416 sold. That may make it the second best selling Idol PB of all time but it could be tough to top Mai's "Passport" book. That's because it keeps selling somewhat well, it's usually in the weekly top ten and total sales for that are close to 320,000 copies sold.
There was a graduation today though it's not going to be a sad post, perhaps when I view the entire concert it will be. Of course I'm referring to Nanase, though not my fave Nogi member she has been the busiest gal of any of them and it'll be impossible to replace her. But to me the impending graduation of Misa will hit even harder, she's one of my all time fave Idols and her departure date is in five weeks.
Gulp, looks like I'll need to rest up a bit...........
Have been having second thoughts about having that current 'Top Twenty Fave Nogi/Keya Members' list. With those two leaving thinking what's the sense of having one, perhaps I should hold on a bit and instead have an all time Nogi members list. Have only seen one short clip from Nanase's graduation concert(s), she was just supposed to appear at the fourth show but popped in briefly at the first three shows. Her graduation concert was streamed in Japan so perhaps that means us fans can view it soon, some pics below from all four days. It was also announced yesterday that Nanase will have a graduation memorial PB put out by 7-Eleven, will let you know more details about it soon.
There were two major announcements made during the four performances. On day three their Summer tour was announced, seems shorter than their previous tours though all of the shows will be held at mega sized domes. The other news took place on day two where it was announced their fourth album will be released on April 17th, zero details though about it have been released.
Speaking of tearful graduations it's been a tad over two years since Nanami departed on February 20, 2017 which was her 24th birthday. Thought about doing something for her 26th b-day but passed on it, not that it's time to forget her but let's have her keep the privacy she desired.
Nogi, to me at last, hasn't been the same since her graduation but can also say that about many others who have departed. So many of my bigger faves have left and wonder if it was a curse to have your pic taken with Nanami!?
Couple of trios in the bottom pics, least Erika hasn't listened to the advice of her seniors... yet!!!! There haven't been many mag spreads lately, perhaps because Keya is releasing a single this week they're stepping back from them to let their sister group appear in them. Have three for this post though, one for now and the two others are at the bottom.
Wouldn't tell you to make a wager on it but to me it wouldn't be surprising if Sayuri is the next first generation member to announce their graduation. Could easily be wrong as there's been no rumors but just have a feeling that she may be next. Her activities outside of Nogi have been increasing but can say that about most members, this set is from volume eight of Platinum Flash.
Minami is by far my biggest fave of the third generation members, shame there's no spreads with her today and wouldn't shock me if she was the next Nogi gal to have a photobook. She's now the host of a radio show called 'Nogi Bogi', some pics from the past few shows.
Nogi's 22nd single 'Kaerimichi' hasn't been their biggest seller though it could be as time goes on. To date it's sold about 1.244 million copies which leaves it 80,000 behind "Synchronicity". Have some cards here for the single though the top three with Miona are for their 7th Birthday concerts.
That's Yuki at the bottom, been liking her a bit more and once she turns twenty can do some solo posts for her, that event takes place on May 5th. That reminds me that there should be a pair of recaps this week for the "Zambi" drama, she does have a big role in it.
In two days Kazumi will be releasing her second photobook, hopefully can have a solo post for her as it's been well over a year since her last one. Doesn't seem this PB is getting as much promotion as the previous Nogi books, what a shame as Kazumi is perhaps the group's most likable member. Do have a pair of new mag spreads but will only have one for now which may also be in her upcoming post. This smallish set is from the February 26th issue of SPA!.
Didn't seem it going in but this ended up being a rather long post, actually can't think of many times when a group post hasn't been huge. Will probably never post anything about the fourth generation members, they're just too young for me. Hesitated at first but some from the third generation have been growing on me such as Momoko, she also has a decent role in the "Zambi" drama. She has the final set of pics for today which are from the March edition of BLT Graph, she had the back cover. Don't know if it'll be up long but after the pics is a short video of today's show but more importantly Nanase from her final concert in Osaka, she comes on at the 2:52 mark.
