Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Erika Toda: "Scarlet" asadora press conference pics

This must be everyone's lucky week of the month as it's been centuries since there's been two days in a row with an Erika post! And to make it even luckier the odds are strong there will be another post Saturday as her newest film will be released tomorrow..... hmmmm, perhaps it'd be a great time to play the lottery! Did wonder yesterday if Erika still has fans out there, some but not as many as she once did as that post only received a so-so amount of views. Sure most are old time fans and the goal now is to collect her some new ones. Perhaps not with this post though as it may be the smallest one of the year but of course the event pics are superb.

At this event was another huge fave of mine who finished #9 on my all time list. That's Yuko and haven't had a post for her new activities since June 2017, heard of many actresses taking a break but it's getting a bit ridiculous now.

Even with a few new pics for her there's still not nearly enough for a post, sigh.....

This press conference was held today which is the 21st, it's the second one for the asadora "Scarlet". Erika will have the lead role in the drama and it's quite an honor to play the lead character. However the show won't be starting until September, today's event was to introduce a few of the other cast who will have biggish roles.
The drama is set in the 1960's, it's about a woman who overcomes many obstacles to become a master of ceramic arts. May sound a bit boring but these asadoras are always quite interesting but at 156 episodes it's a struggle to watch an entire series. The event was held at the NHK Hall, filming won't start until June so we may not be hearing more about this series for a while, the filming will take place in Shiga prefecture. Plenty of fine looking Erika pics from the event but sadly no video.
