Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Miona Hori: Hopefully the the beginning of an avalanche of posts....

.... and how I hope that title is correct!!!! Whew, what a busy month this has been as this is post #75, will be doing posts for the next two days and take the 31st off. So the question is can five more be done to reach the milestone of eighty? It is kind of a milestone as the last time it happened was in 2017(!) but posts these days tend to be larger so perhaps eighty in 2021 is the equivalent of ninety four years ago. Once again hope that title is on the money as this is just her second regular post since mid July and there haven't been many more bigger faves to me over the last five years.

Quite a massive fave of you viewers too but what a drop she had this year. In 2020 Miona finished second on the yearly faves list but dropped to tenth this year but that's still respectable. Have always considered the list for 'The Most Popular Women here by Post Average' to be the viewer's yearly faves list, did it two days ago. In 2020 Miona's posts had the seventh highest average of anyone but dropped to 15th this, that's what being inactive will do. Not entirely inactive but compared to her Nogi days it certainly was but things are looking rosier. This is her second regular post this month plus did a recap of a drama special she appeared in that aired in October. "Mattari! Akado Suzunosuke" will be her next drama, that begins on January 8th and hope that's a series I can recap.

That last post was done about three weeks ago but have about fifty new pics, some are a bit older but had never been posted before and can't understand how I missed them. Let's begin off with a few recent pics from Miona's IG page, she also has her own website and YT channel.

Some pics from the Asahi site and an interview that took place on December 3rd. As you can see in the bottom pic she was semi-promoting a Seiko watch, here's the link to the site which also has a video of the interview: Asahi site

No new mag spreads for today but Miona is a model for the ar magazine, some recent pics from their site and a few may have been in that last post.

Think Miona is now also a model for the Grin web site as these are brand new pics from a week ago and they're ultra stupendous. There's a few more pics at their site along with some other things so here's the link to it: Grin site

Hopefully Miona is a new model for them as those pics rate an A++++ and hope to see more of them. Those missed pics are about a year old and came out in November/December 2020. They're semi 'Nogi Koi' cards/pics for a group campaign for 7-Eleven and there was a mini web drama to promote the store. Missed the campaign for all the members so you may be seeing more of these pics.

Will be ending off with some of the best event pics of the year and perhaps her top ones ever! Miona has always struck me as a horror fan, her best role was in the "Zambi" Nogi drama plus she had a creepy role in the 'Nogi Cinema' series. On December 26th she was at the 'Japan Horror Films Award' show and it's the first one ever which is kind of surprising. The ceremony took place at the EJ Anime Theater in Shinjuku, it's also a mini film festival as 104 films and animes will be screened. Miona looked like a dream(as usual!) and she was part of the award selection committee, hope that means we'll be seeing her in some future horror flick which are my faves. Plenty of super duper pics from the event, following them is a video of the ceremony and there's a few more on YT.
