Previous positions:
Once again there was no mystery on who #1 was gong to be once again but this was the first year that previous winners were eligible. Positions seven and five also were my number ones for a year and seven of the top ten were also in 2020's top ten. It'd be nice to have a few new faves but to me I think it's better that they don't change all that much. So Marie is the first ever repeat champion and she came so close to making it three years in a row! Back in 2019 she finished fourth on the faves list but as of August that year she was in the top spot. Bit of a slow stretch then for the next few months and she was passed by a trio but still fourth is an impressive position. Tomorrow will have a brief recap post for the list and then won't talk about it or next year's for a while. But the question is can Marie make it three years in a row being #1 in 2022? There's no clear cut favorite going in and wouldn't mind seeing someone else be number one, say #4(!), but wouldn't count her out!
And I'm sure those next posts won't be too far into the future. Marie had 25 regular posts this year and just missed by one of tying the all time record which she set in 2020. So she's averaged a post every other week for two years now and will admit I work harder to have posts for her than anyone else. So why I said this would be a small post there are 46 new pics plus will have some oldies. On December 3rd she attended a press conference for the 'SOS47' campaign which is to alert people about family frauds, second year in a row she's been an ambassador for this police campaign.
Just one new mag spread and that's been the only disappointment for the year which is how few she's appeared in. Least Marie was the cover girl for the January issue of More.
We've hit the end and did want to make this a simple and smallish post but it actually wasn't all that small. In August and September 2018 had my first 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list, will have the second one beginning next June as four years should be a long enough period. So after finishing sixth, fourth, first and first again on the yearly faves list since 2018 you'd have to say Marie is the front runner for being my #1 of all time on that next list. Haven't given it too much thought but kind of have an inkling on who the top eight would be but not their exact positions. Marie's first and only photobook "NO GAZPACHO" was released on her 20th birthday back on January 5, 2018 and how I dream of her having a second book!!!! It's been her most popular post ever with over 2,600 views but most books that are this terrific have twice as many views, she's never been overly popular here. After the pics is a newish video for VT Cosmetics that came out last month which is a short behind the scenes segment for her recent CM for them.
